Minecraft is my favorite game for many reasons, one of them being that I can play for hours and relax without thinking about anything other than surviving and exploring. Now there's a new update and new adventures, but I went for my favorite game mode so far: One Block.
We start in a world with nothing, just us on a single block of dirt, and we start mining.
The map will give us some chests, animals, and blocks that are completely random.
We'll go through different biome phases. Lately, I've started playing and restarted my game many times, haha, because the animals in Minecraft are difficult. For example, dogs hate foxes, foxes hate chickens, and sheep are in danger with dogs around them, so you have to keep them all separated. This gets crazy when we reach zone 3 of the tundra and the dogs and foxes appear.
In my last playthrough, I quickly started planting trees and growing crops.
This world currently has two levels: the base, which is for safety, and the floating island. I did this so that if something explodes, everything won't fall into the void.
My animals are in their pen, but I want to have a nice stable eventually, as well as more organized crops, haha, but it's difficult.
I played this mod in several sessions, and the worst thing that could happen did happen: something in the world broke, and the levels reset. This did have one good thing going for me, though: I got animals that I didn't have before. But it was quite annoying to start from scratch, although my constructions were fine.
I've made good progress building the platform floor, and I also have a safety floor. In this game mode, an explosion can ruin everything, and the distance is quite far.
This is a lot of wood and a lot of half-block planks because that way the wood goes further. I wasn't at all worried that everything was the same color, haha. By this point, I was already planting my own trees, and the wood was varied, so I used whatever was available.
Among my small constructions, I made a little house one that just happens to have a roof, haha. It had lots of chests with stuff all over it. I'm sure this will be a better build later. For now, it's a square with space for crystals that holds chests, furnaces, a bed, and a crafting table. I don't need anything more.
I like this mod because it combines relaxed gameplay with necessary building. I generally don't build much; I'm more the mining and exploring type of player, but in this kind of game, it's necessary to build the world a bit.
I still have a lot to do, but I don't know how far I'll be able to progress since if the mod has problems again, I'd have to restart my game. And while I haven't done much, I've dedicated several hours to it, but for now, this is what I've managed.
See you next time ❤️ Yowi.
