A quiet afternoon among the pines
The afternoon light was soft and diffuse, filtering through the high canopy of pine boughs heavy with snow. My family's laughter was a gentle sound, quickly swallowed by the immense, muffled silence of the forest. I paused, feeling the cold, clean air fill my lungs, and watched the way the grey sky seemed to cradle the dark, steadfast trunks. Reaching for my phone, I wanted to hold this feeling - this profound peace. The simple act of walking here, together, felt like a gift. In the stillness, even the distant creak of a branch felt like a whisper from the woods themselves. This image is a quiet anchor, a return to that serene, frost-kissed world whenever I need it.
I love photography. I spend time in nature, walking around the city. And I often take pictures when I see something interesting.
I always edit my pictures (mostly using Lightroom) and love sharing them with the community.
