Revenge is an act of unforgiving, taking revenge comes with a lot of bitterness in the heart. Revenge is the action of hurting or harming someone in return for an injury or wrong suffered at their hands. It takes patience and grace to forgive before any act of bitterness can be forgiven and lack of forgiveness is what builds up the mind for revenge. Life might hurt us and we decide to get back at life but when doing this we will be hurting ourselves in return because life will keep on giving us its sour cream. Lack of forgiveness can lead to lots of damage because if care is not taken evil thoughts can engulf the heart of the person burning with revenge and at that time nothing is more important than that revenge. Treating people with care in your journey in life is very important like the popular saying "do unto others what you want them to do unto you". Any act of wickedness that you can't endure as a person doesn't show it to others. This brings me to a story I will love to share with you.
A girl has a bitter heart towards her friend because they both met a man and the man fell in love with her friend and not her, this causes her lots of unrest and due to the bitter heart she has towards her friend she decided to poison her. She got the poison and made preparations to kill her, she invited her friend to her house and offered her a poisoned drink then she left for the restroom. Her friend checked the cups and decided to change the drink to the host while she drank the one without the poison. This was unknown to the friend who hosted her she came back from the restroom and just picked up the cup to have her drink and voila that was how she lost her life but she tried her possible best to explain what she did before she finally gave up the ghost. Here she was so unfortunate because due to her act of revenge towards her friend she ended up killing herself in the process that is why we need to be extra careful when planning evil against anyone.
Life isn't a bed of roses, don't expect everyone to love you this is the main reason we have to tread softly because we don't know who loves us no who hates us. People tend to underestimate the power of humans, the rate at which humans can stomach secrets and leave them hidden for the life I don't think any animal has that capacity. As humans, we don't forget any acts of wickedness towards us but it's very easy and convenient for us to forget any good acts or kind gestures towards us. One wrong can destroy millions of good deeds you had done for humans and that one wrong can make you lose your life in revenge because the human will not remember you're good deeds once you commit one blunder.
Two wrongs they say don't make a right but people find it difficult to have a forgiven heart and revenge is so common in our society today.
Lots of revenge cases lead to murder, they end up killing whoever they want revenge against. I can say proper upbringing can help to curb this evil act. A peaceful family will produce peaceful, and well-mannered individuals, and peaceful society will be born but in a home where domestic violence is the order of the day and both parents are threatening to kill each other you can't expect good offspring from home because home is the first school that builds a child's character. Once the home is faulty, it is very for society to correct such individuals. Forgiveness is divine it will also give such individuals with heavy heart peace of mind that is why we must build a healthy family to help our society grow into a better place for us to live in.
