Desde la aparición del hombre hasta la actualidad, el individuo se ha caracterizado por comportarse y tener una escala de valores dentro del contexto en el cual se desenvuelve. Es allí, donde muchos autores han escrito sobre este fenómeno social que determina el “Ethos” que tanto pregonó Aristóteles (filósofo de la antigua Grecia) en el cual una persona es aceptada socialmente a través de la reputación de la misma, por el prejuicio de valor social, lo cual influye directamente en su autoridad personal, pudiendo además entender el “Pathos” como esa capacidad para despertar emociones y el “Logos” en la argumentación científica, la verdad o lo socialmente válida de nuestras palabras y acciones en lo que denominamos: “Cualidades del orador”
Entendiendo que por naturaleza, todos somos oradores cualquiera sea su naturaleza, y esta misma triada aplica al concepto que podemos apreciar de cualquier persona, por el carácter humano que tenemos de creer y aceptar de nuestro prójimo.

En este mismo orden de ideas, podemos afirmar lo dicho por Rokeach: “Los valores son una medida o escala personal capaz de guiar nuestras acciones y juicios a lo largo de nuestra vida y dicho estándar posee una característica única en el individualismo de cada persona” Quiere decir que estos patrones personales, los construimos a través de lo ontológico y en ese paso actuamos como personas.
En ese sentido, entran en juego los principios en los cuales según Wikipedia, se afirma: “que son aquellas reglas y normas que regulan nuestras acciones humanas, categorizadas de una manera perfecta en los diversos derechos humanos universales” y en el caso venezolano, en el preámbulo de la Constitución de la República Bolivariana de Venezuela y leyes afines, estas promueven principios que garantizan el respeto, goce y disfrute de los elementos más fundamentales los cuales son el resultado de siglos de luchas desde la Revolución Francesa hasta la fundación de la Organización de Naciones Unidas y que aún, siguen en pie de batalla y promoción, por más increíble e inaudito que parezca.
Parafraseando a Alí Primera: necesitamos que sea más humana, la humanidad. Por consiguiente debemos entender la aseveración de H. Bales: Quien destaca que nos regimos también por normas sociales que realmente aceptamos como miembros de una sociedad determinada dentro de un espacio geográfico determinado. Esto condiciona nuestro actuar influyendo en nuestra forma de actuar, aunque esto no obedece a una cuestión estática sino más bien dinámica propia de los seres humanos.

El hombre y la mujer van en busca de sentirse bien y sentirse felices y las normas y valores también van evolucionando; pero por la misma característica humana que posee virtudes y defectos, son una constante de debate, análisis y estudio dentro de la filosofía y las humanidades mismas. Nadie lo sabe con certeza aún; no obstante, en esa dinámica seguirán pasando las agujas del reloj y nosotros seguiremos buscando formas, métodos y maneras de blindarnos con mayor humanidad de acuerdo a las circunstancias en las cuales esté inmerso. Esperemos en este presente hacer lo éticamente correcto y pongamos nuestro grano de arena para que eso sea posible.
