Sabiduría: Conocimiento en concierto con el sentido común.
Del verbo saber, sinónimo de conocer. Por más discusiones que podamos entablar acerca de las diferencias entre uno y otro o las sutilezas del lenguaje, siento que cuando hablamos de sabiduría, nos estamos refiriendo a un tipo de conocimiento superior, que implica además de información, buen juicio para aplicar con los mejores resultados deseables.
Son muchos los profesores, maestros, doctores, catedráticos con títulos que acreditan sus conocimientos y son pocos los que puedan mostrar en su currículo, una vasta bibliografía, a pesar de lo cual solo unos pocos alcanzan el calificativo de sabios entre quienes los llegan a conocer, en este momento solo viene a mi mente un nombre entre los autores de fechas recientes y claro está el del sabio de la antigüedad, su majestad el rey Salomón.
Sinonimo de sabiduría, la cual le fue otorgada por Dios en respuesta a su humilde petición, la cual le añadió el creador riquezas y poder según el relato bíblico en el que encontramos varios libros atribuidos a su persona y que reciben la calificación de sapienciales.
Debo reconocer que me llevo varios años lograr reconocer o extraer la sabiduría o conocimiento inscrito en sus palabras tan alejadas en el tiempo y las traducciones, pero finalmente logré sacar algunas indicaciones de valor para la vida actual, que salvando los modernismos tecnológicos se diferencia poco del pasado en lo más elemental, necesidades vitales, sentimientos y emociones humanas.
Hay una cualidad inherente a la personalidad del sabio, que a mi parecer se muestra reflejada en el bíblico rey Salomón y es la humildad manifiesta en su petición de sabiduría, cuando alcanzó el más alto rango de poder en su país ¿Cuantos poderosos o no reconocen su incapacidad para tomar las mejores decisiones? Salomón es un ejemplo a estudiar de principio a fin.
Hijo de David, favorito del Altísimo, fue elegido para construir el templo de Jerusalén (la casa de Dios en la tierra) por que a diferencia de su padre no había hecho la guerra, no había derramado sangre inocente y sin embargo no logró escapar a las pasiones humanas, a pesar de tener un harén con mil mujeres, incurrió en el adulterio, la intriga y el asesinato y terminó enfrentado con su propio hijo Absalón que intentó derrocarlo.
Da la impresión de que la lujuria fue la perdición del sabio y con él, la de su reino que a fin de cuentas pago las consecuencias.
De regreso a las actuales circunstancias mundiales, podemos observar la combinación de poder y conocimiento no se libran del influjo de la lujuria, la avaricia y demás "cualidades" que sumadas a la indolencia, pereza, indiferencia llevan a la humanidad de regreso a Egipto, Roma o su nueva versión aún por nombrar.
Si bien es la sabiduría principio de felicidad y bienestar, parece no bastar a su conservación y precisa de cultivar algo más.
Voluntad para dominar las inclinaciones al placer, que no siendo malo en sí mismo, puede resultar el cebo o la trampa.

There are many professors, teachers, doctors, professors with titles that accredit their knowledge and there are few who can show a vast bibliography in their curriculum, despite which only a few reach the qualification of wise among those who get to know them. , at this moment only one name comes to mind among the authors of recent dates and of course that of the wise man of antiquity, his majesty King Solomon.
Synonymous with wisdom, which was granted by God in response to his humble request, which the creator added riches and power according to the biblical story in which we find several books attributed to him and that receive the qualification of wisdom.
I must admit that it took me several years to be able to recognize or extract the wisdom or knowledge inscribed in his words so far away in time and translations, but finally I managed to get some indications of value for today's life, which, saving technological modernisms, differs little from past in the most elementary, vital needs, feelings and human emotions.
There is an inherent quality in the personality of the wise man, which in my opinion is reflected in the biblical King Solomon and it is the humility manifested in his request for wisdom, when he reached the highest rank of power in his country. How many powerful or do not recognize your inability to make the best decisions? Solomon is an example to study from start to finish.
Son of David, favorite of the Most High, he was chosen to build the temple of Jerusalem (the house of God on earth) because unlike his father he had not waged war, he had not shed innocent blood and yet he was unable to escape human passions, despite having a harem with a thousand women, he committed adultery, intrigue and murder and ended up in conflict with his own son Absalom who tried to overthrow him.
It gives the impression that lust was the perdition of the sage and with it, that of his kingdom, which in the end paid the consequences.
Returning to the current world circumstances, we can observe the combination of power and knowledge not free from the influence of lust, greed and other "qualities" that added to indolence, laziness, indifference lead humanity back to Egypt, Rome or its new version yet to be named.
Although wisdom is the principle of happiness and well-being, it seems not enough to preserve it and something else needs to be cultivated.
Willingness to dominate the inclinations to pleasure, which not being bad in itself, can be the bait or the trap.
