Como lo he dicho ya en publicaciones pasadas, hablar de blockchain no solo implica un ámbito tecnológico, sino que es contemplar una arquitectura que pretende reorganizar aspectos como la confianza y la distribución de poder. Por lo que me parece valioso repensar posturas como la de Arendt en torno a la política, a Heidegger en torno a la técnica, la libertad de Spinoza o la justicia de Rawls. Por lo que considero de cara a este asunto es preciso plantearnos a la blockchain como un horizonte donde el humanismo debe caminar y adoptar una cosmovisión desde el posthumanismo, como corriente contemporánea que nos brinda una horizontalidad de sentido interesante.

En otras palabras, es sentarnos a pensar el por qué y el para qué hacemos lo que hacemos. ¿Realmente necesitamos una herramienta disruptiva que nos permita descentralizar y transformar el poder y la información? Aunque no quiero adoptar una postura romántica del asunto, porque quienes me conocen saben hacia donde me inclino. Más allá de mis descentralizadas opiniones, creo que es valioso enunciar de manera crítica las fronteras.
Hay un peligro de quedarnos con lo técnico del asunto y edificar una especie de “tecnocentrismo” que pudiese arriesgar el discernimiento posterior a modo de sesgos de afirmación. Podríamos llegar a pensar en ese sentido, que cosas como la automatización es un fin en sí mismo, olvidando por completo que la tecnología es un medio, no un fin, su naturaleza es mejorar la vida humana, y no en cambio una especie de pseudo-doctrina que se quede en la admiración quietista del progreso.
Por lo que, el humanismo debe ejercer un rol de guía, de brújula, de discernimiento. Ya que solo una visión humanística del asunto, no negará lo valioso de técnico, pero, adoptara una postura donde lo humano no queda supeditado a la tecnología y donde la meta o dirección a donde se apunta es a lograr una mayor comprensión de lo que somos siendo en sentido global, pues somos una gran colectividad dentro de un mismo mundo.
La razón por la cual se hace imperativo una reflexión humanista de la blockchain, es que, si no tenemos presente el valor de lo humano en relación a la tecnología seguiremos edificando sistemas para perpetuar los mismos problemas sociales acarreados hasta hoy. Por lo que, con todo el sentido de la responsabilidad me gustaría afirmar que la filosofía en la blockchain no es un lujo, es una necesidad y promover disertaciones, investigaciones, conferencias y publicaciones, es algo imperativo.
Ya que son las humanidades las capaces de edificar y transformar la aletheia en la blockchain, o dicho de otro modo, son las humanidades las que pueden ejercer un trabajo de desocultamiento de lo que implica o no realmente la blockchain. Personalmente tomo mis propias palabras como una invitación a seguir investigando y profundizando en tono filosófico en medida de lo posible. Pero me gustaría preguntarte:

As I have already said in past publications, to talk about blockchain does not only imply a technological scope, but it is to contemplate an architecture that aims to reorganize aspects such as trust and power distribution. So I think it is valuable to rethink positions such as Arendt's on politics, Heidegger's on technology, Spinoza's freedom or Rawls' justice. Therefore, I consider that in the face of this issue it is necessary to consider the blockchain as a horizon where humanism must walk and adopt a worldview from posthumanism, as a contemporary current that provides us with an interesting horizontality of meaning.
In other words, it is to sit down and think about why and for what we do what we do. Do we really need a disruptive tool that allows us to decentralize and transform power and information? Although I don't want to take a romantic view of the matter, because those who know me know where I lean. Beyond my decentralized views, I think it is valuable to critically enunciate the boundaries.
There is a danger of remaining with the technical side of the matter and building a kind of “technocentrism” that could risk subsequent discernment by way of affirmation biases. We could come to think in this sense, that things like automation is an end in itself, completely forgetting that technology is a means, not an end, its nature is to improve human life, and not instead a kind of pseudo-doctrine that remains in the quietist admiration of progress.
Therefore, humanism must play the role of guide, of compass, of discernment. Since only a humanistic vision of the matter will not deny the value of technology, but it will adopt a position where the human is not subordinated to technology and where the goal or direction is to achieve a greater understanding of what we are being in a global sense, since we are a great community within the same world.
The reason why a humanistic reflection of the blockchain is imperative is that, if we do not keep in mind the value of the human in relation to technology, we will continue building systems to perpetuate the same social problems that we have had until today. So, with all sense of responsibility I would like to affirm that philosophy in the blockchain is not a luxury, it is a necessity and promoting dissertations, research, conferences and publications is imperative.
For it is the humanities that are capable of building and transforming aletheia in the blockchain, or in other words, it is the humanities that can do the work of uncovering what the blockchain really implies or not. I personally take my own words as an invitation to continue to investigate and delve deeper in philosophical tone as much as possible. But I would like to ask you:
