En esta oportunidad estimado lector lo que pretendo hacer es recuperar lo esencial del mito bíblico de la encarnación. En la biblia es Lucas quien nos habla un poco más de manera extendida aunque no demasiado, sobre la infancia de Jesús, sino que podemos encontrar literariamente hablando lo suficiente para construir un perfil de Jesús.

En resumen, Belén puede ser interpretado como el lugar que no está en el mapa, casi el no lugar en sentido topográfico.
Ahora te pregunto estimado lector ¿Dónde quedaría Belén hoy? No en sentido literal, sino entendiendo la pregunta como un ejercicio de pensar la sociedad actual, en otras palabras, hay cientos de lugares en el mundo que no están en el mapa, y con no estar en el mapa me refiero a que su realidad es invisible ante lo que ocurre en el resto del mundo. Entender el nacimiento de Jesús en un sentido actual me ha hecho esbozar una suerte de nuevo Belén. Situémonos en Venezuela, aunque podría ser en cualquier parte del mundo, solo que Venezuela es la realidad que más conozco. Imaginemos un pequeño caserío en algún rincón del interior del país,, de esos donde las personas construyen sus viviendas con madera y láminas de zinc, son situaciones bastante precarias, los servicios básicos son casi inexistentes, pues de nacer Jesús otra vez, lo haría en un lugar así.

Let's imagine a small hamlet in some corner of the interior of the country, one of those where people build their homes with wood and zinc sheets, they are quite precarious situations, basic services are almost nonexistent, because if Jesus was born again, he would be born in such a place.
Jesús escogería como mamá una joven que por mala educación sobre la prevención de embarazo no deseado, o incluso escogería como mamá a una joven que por infortunios del destino fue abusada y ha quedado en estado, pero no siente que abortar sea la solución. El joven asume la paternidad y juntos forman una familia.

The young man assumes the paternity and together they form a family.
Estimado lector, así podría seguir haciendo una suerte de analogía del evangelio de Lucas al contexto actual, en todo caso, lo que pretendo decir es que el relato bíblico sigue teniendo algo de vigencia antropología, política y social. Aunque hay elementos del mito de la encarnación que responden más a lo cultural, yo me quise centrar en lo plenamente humano porque es lo que ahora me interesa, y he pretendido mostrar cómo cada día nacen niños en condiciones increíblemente precarias, muchos no llegan a nacer, o chicas que mueren en el ejercicio de parto.
Repensar el mito de Belén en sentido actual, puede hacernos pensar en las inconsistencias políticas y sociales de nuestro tiempo, la vida del Jesús Bíblico fue un suerte de discurso que mostró las continuas ambigüedades e inconsistencias de su época, a tal grado que consiguió una trascendencia en el mundo occidental.
Me ha parecido un ejercicio interesante la reconstrucción del mito de un nuevo Belén, y ha nacido a partir de la reflexión sobre la navidad que estoy escribiendo en tono filosófico, utilizando uno de los métodos filosóficos que nos invita a desarticular lo preestablecido de un modo bastante interesante, me refiero a la “Deconstrucción” de Jacques Derridá. Espero pronto acercarles el escrito por acá en mi blog.
