Estoy muy emocionada porque esta es la primera vez que publico un post en esta comunidad, ¿y qué mejor manera de empezar que con una buena iniciativa? Además me gusta mucho este tema de la inteligencia artificial y hasta donde se encamina la humanidad con respecto a esto, ¿la inteligencia artificial mejora nuestra vida o nos vuelve unos seres inútiles? I am very excited because this is the first time I publish a post in this community, and what better way to start than with a good initiative? Siempre he creído que la tecnología es muy importante para mejorar la calidad de vida, no solo de los seres humanos, sino de los animales y del ecosistema en general, su uso en todo los ámbitos ha traído muchos beneficios, sobre todo en la medicina, hoy en día existen por ejemplo prótesis robóticas y un amplio repertorio de gadgets que pueden ayudar a los médicos a hacer diagnósticos más precisos y por ende a ofrecer tratamientos más efectivos. Gracias a los audiolibros y los libros en formato digital podemos llevar una gran cantidad de conocimiento junto a nosotros sin ocupar espacio en nuestro equipaje, podemos incluso cuidar el planeta ya que los autos eléctricos reducen la polución en el ambiente, pero ¿realmente necesitamos robots que hagan absolutamente todo, TODO por nosotros? No es lo mismo tener dispositivos que sirvan como complemento en el trabajo y en el hogar, que ayuden a simplificar nuestra vida, que volvernos espectadores de nuestra propia vida.
I have always believed that technology is very important to improve the quality of life, not only of human beings, but also of animals and the ecosystem in general, its use in all areas has brought many benefits, especially in medicine, today there are for example robotic prostheses and a wide range of gadgets that can help doctors to make more accurate diagnoses and therefore to offer more effective treatments. Thanks to audio books and books in digital format we can carry a lot of knowledge with us without taking up space in our luggage, we can even take care of the planet as electric cars reduce pollution in the environment, but do we really need robots that do absolutely everything, EVERYTHING for us? It is not the same to have devices that serve as a complement at work and at home, that help to simplify our life, than to become spectators of our own life.
Yo no estoy en contra de la tecnología, para nada, de hecho, como expresé en el párrafo anterior me parece muy útil en todos los ámbitos, es solo que creo que no deberían existir o fomentar el uso de dispositivos que nos hagan más perezosos, no puedo creer que haya camas que se hacen solas (no creo que hacer tu propia cama te lleve más de cinco minutos) hay países donde existen máquinas que preparan y sirven el café en vez de hacerlo un empleado, lo que me lleva a pensar inevitablemente en dos cosas, por un lado estamos restringiendo las fuentes de empleo, y por el otro, reduciendo paulatinamente la interacción social que es tan importante para el ser humano (sociable por naturaleza)
I am not against technology, not at all, in fact, as I expressed in the previous paragraph I find it very useful in all areas, it's just that I believe that there should not be or encourage the use of devices that make us lazier, I can't believe that there are beds that make themselves (I don't think that making your own bed takes more than five minutes) there are countries where there are machines that prepare and serve coffee instead of an employee doing it, which inevitably leads me to think about two things, on the one hand we are restricting the sources of employment, and on the other, gradually reducing the social interaction that is so important for human beings (sociable by nature).
Y lo antes expuesto me conduce a una frase muy importante de uno de los grandes precursores de la tecnología y que no es más que Leonardo Da Vinci, quien entre otras cosas fue un inventor, «Así como el hierro se oxida por falta de uso, también la inactividad destruye el intelecto» tenemos que mantenernos activos física e intelectualmente para no perder nuestra esencia ni tampoco nuestras capacidades como ser humano.

Yo sinceramente creo que todo es cuestión de equilibrio, debemos usar la tecnología y la inteligencia artificial como un complemento en nuestras vidas, no como reemplazo del ser humano, por eso creo que grandes personalidades como Da Vinci y Copernico que hicieron grandes aportes con sus inventos estarían de acuerdo con esta forma de pensar pues valoraban la inteligencia humana, el esfuerzo y la practica, tampoco creo que el propio Jesús condenase el uso de la inteligencia artificial si esta es usada para un buen fin, y sin dejar de reconocer que la fuente de toda sabiduría del hombre proviene de Dios, como podemos comprobar en Santiago 3:17 "En cambio, la sabiduría que viene de lo alto es, ante todo, pura; y además, pacífica, benévola y conciliadora; está llena de misericordia y dispuesta a hacer el bien; es imparcial y sincera."
I sincerely believe that everything is a matter of balance, we must use technology and artificial intelligence as a complement in our lives, not as a replacement of the human being, that is why I believe that great personalities like Da Vinci and Copernicus who made great contributions with their inventions would agree with this way of thinking because they valued human intelligence, effort and practice, I do not believe that Jesus himself would condemn the use of artificial intelligence if it is used for a good purpose, and without failing to recognize that the source of all wisdom of man comes from God, as we can see in James 3: 17 "But the wisdom that is from above is first of all pure, and moreover peaceable, gentle and conciliatory; it is full of mercy and ready to do good; it is impartial and sincere"
La inteligencia artificial puede ser de gran ayuda por ejemplo para personas enfermas, robots androides que pueden ayudar a complementar el trabajo de enfermeros a la hora de asear o practicarle algún tipo de terapia a un paciente, ya que se reduce o elimina el hecho de emplear fuerza física que podría derivar en futuras lesiones, aunque el experto en robótica japonés, Hiroshi Ishiguro, considera que los robots podría volverse indispensables algún día, y no lo pongo en duda, pero creo que tampoco deberíamos volvernos dependientes de ellos, porque hacerlo implicaría volvernos débiles e incapaces.
Artificial intelligence can be of great help, for example for sick people, android robots that can help to complement the work of nurses when it comes to cleaning or providing some kind of therapy to a patient, as it reduces or eliminates the fact of using physical strength that could lead to future injuries, although the Japanese robotics expert, Hiroshi Ishiguro, believes that robots could become indispensable one day, and I do not doubt it, but I believe that we should not become dependent on them, because doing so would mean becoming weak and incapable.
Amigos, ciertamente creo que el uso de la inteligencia artificial en la humanidad nos ha traído muchos beneficios que no podemos dejar de reconocer, pero nunca debemos olvidarnos de que debe existir un buen balance, usarla como un complemento, no como un elemento indispensable porque nosotros somos seres completos y extraordinarios por naturaleza, tenemos muchas capacidades que no podemos darnos el lujo de perder o atrofiar.
Friends, I certainly believe that the use of artificial intelligence in humanity has brought us many benefits that we cannot fail to recognise, but we must never forget that there must be a good balance, using it as a complement, not as an indispensable element because we are complete and extraordinary beings by nature, we have many capacities that we cannot afford to lose or atrophy.
