HUMANIDADES DIMENSIÓN ACADÉMICA
Las humanidades ha sido un espacio en el que académicamente siempre me he formado. Desde la secundaria me he inclinado hacia esta área del conocimiento. Recuerdo especialmente que mi primer trabajo de investigación fue acerca del archivo histórico de la Facultad de Humanidades y Educación de la Universidad Central de Venezuela.
Pues resulta que ese reservorio documental se estaba creando y como estudiante fui levantando información de cada uno de los documentos históricos que allí se encontraban para generar un catálogo archivístico.
Un catálogo archivístico es un registro de los documentos que se encuentran en una unidad de información (biblioteca, archivo, centro de documentación entre otros) que describe las características del documento y resume su contenido, a los fines de ser usado para la ubicación rápida de la pieza documental en el reservorio).
Puedo decirles que en ese momento tuve contacto con documentos de la fundación de la Facultad de Humanidades, cuya data era por allá por el año 1.946 y la primera Escuela con la que se formó la facultad fue la de Filosofía, luego se fueron sumando otras, periodismo, bibliotecología, historia, psicología, geografía, idiomas y letras. Esto sería un referente de las categorías o áreas del conocimiento que las Humanidades como dimensión académica tiene un significado para mí.
Aquí entonces se iniciaba todo un movimiento de sabiduría para fomentar y enrabar la investigación hacia el mundo humanístico como un espacio de discernimiento en el que se impulsaban iniciativas para formar profesionales que robustecieran estas áreas como una posibilidad de ampliar el conocimiento y las ciencias.

LAS HUMANIDADES DIMENSIÓN SOCIAL
Decir humanidades nos acerca a lo humano a la cultura como algo posible y amplio de recorrer, no quiero así dejar como un estigma de humanidades solo protocolar y netamente académico, creo que en este momento histórico las humanidades nos acercan a la literatura, a la creación del arte y sus manifestaciones. Eso, aunque también abarcan dimensiones académicas son indicadores amplios de la diversidad de lo que constituye lo humano.
Las relaciones humanas hoy están siendo un espacio importante que rescatar y seguramente más tarde van a dar de que hablar, mucho debate; sobre todo por las formas en las que nos estamos relacionando y como se están resolviendo situaciones. Ya no estamos en un mundo netamente científico cuyos comportamientos son verificables, exactos y tienen un método, ahora hay espacios de transformación del hombre que solo pueden ser entendidos desde los entornos en que se desarrollan.
Así ya las enfermedades no solo pueden curarse bajo medicamentos, influye también la alimentación, el contacto con los demás, el medio y otros factores potencialmente humanos que hacen de estas nuevas interpretaciones una forma de ser explicar la necesidad de rescatar lo humano o lo humanizado de las relaciones.

LAS HUMANIDADES DIMENSIÓN AFECTIVA
Entonces con las medidas para “salvarnos” de cara a este mundo pandémico, hablar de humanidades será recordar el contacto, la mirada, la aproximación y los espacios de encuentros en el que nos hemos relacionados desde nuestros orígenes y que ahora temerosos pretendemos limitar por razones de protección. Pero como decía mi maestra “la cultura no perdona”, siempre seremos seres relacionales.
El baile, la danza, la música en fin todo lo que nos acerca a lo humano, es parte de nuestra historia y de eso no podremos escapar ni queriendo, a menos que lo forcemos, pero siempre, aunque sea a escondidas volveremos a nuestros orígenes. Porque eso forma parte de una inteligencia que nos sobrepasa, es superior a lo que nos dicten los gobiernos, el estado y todo que inventamos por autoridad, se salvan los padres (a ellos solo les dejo su propia historia).

HUMANITIES ACADEMIC DIMENSION
Humanities has been a space in which academically I have always been formed. Since high school I have been inclined and enrolled towards this area of knowledge. I especially remember that my first research work was about the historical archive of the Faculty of Humanities and Education of the Central University of Venezuela.
It turns out that this documentary reservoir was being created and as a student I was gathering information on each of the historical documents that were there to generate an archival catalog.

I can tell you that at that time I had contact with documents of the founding of the Faculty of Humanities, whose date was around 1946 and the first school with which the faculty was formed was the School of Philosophy, then others were added, journalism, library science, history, psychology, geography, languages and letters. This would be a reference of the categories or areas of knowledge that the Humanities as an academic dimension has a meaning for me.
This was the beginning of a whole movement of wisdom to encourage and encourage research into the humanistic world as a space of discernment in which initiatives were promoted to train professionals to strengthen these areas as a possibility to broaden knowledge and science.

THE HUMANITIES AS A SOCIAL DIMENSION
To say humanities brings us closer to the human to the culture as something possible and broad to go through, I do not want to leave as a stigma of humanities only protocol and purely academic, I think that in this historical moment the humanities bring us closer to literature, to the creation of art and its manifestations. Although they also include academic dimensions, they are broad indicators of the diversity of what constitutes the human.
Human relations today are an important space to be rescued and will surely give much to talk about later, much debate, especially for the ways in which we are relating and how situations are being resolved. We are no longer in a purely scientific world whose behaviors are verifiable, exact and have a method, now there are spaces of transformation of man that can only be understood from the environments in which they develop.
Thus, diseases can not only be cured by medication, but also by food, contact with others, the environment and other potentially human factors that make these new interpretations a way of explaining the need to rescue the human or the humanized in relationships.

HUMANITIES AFFECTIVE DIMENSION
So with the measures to "save ourselves" in the face of this pandemic world, to speak of humanities will be to remember the contact, the look, the approach and the spaces of encounters in which we have been related since our origins and that we now fearfully pretend to limit for reasons of protection. But as my teacher used to say "culture does not forgive", we will always be relational beings.
The dance, the dance, the music, in short, everything that brings us closer to the human, is part of our history and we cannot escape from it even if we don't want to, unless we force it, but always, even if it is in secret, we will return to our origins. Because that is part of an intelligence that surpasses us, it is superior to what governments, the state and all that we invent by authority dictate to us, parents are saved (to them I only leave their own history).
