Early morning fog descended on Croydon this weekend.
I really like to find unique buildings on Google Maps, aside to flying in plain parks.
This example is a snaking apartment block located to the north of Croydon centre. I find the design odd in a few ways- the building folds back on itself multiple times, the footprint is staggered because of the bordering road and in the middle distance is split up into another section.
The second shot is slightly lower in altitude to line up the fog with the top of the tall apartment blocks in the distance. The location of the IKEA store is identified by two chimneys to the right, formally a coal power station post WWII.
Have a great week!
