Unfortunately, I didn't dare to fly through the fog to reach the ridge from where I was standing. Although the fog layer was only about 50 meters thick, it posed a risk. Flying through it could cause condensation on the camera lens, leading to what would essentially be a 'blind flight.' While this wouldn't be a major issue since I can make the drone to return automatically by flipping a switch, my risk tolerance is low unless I have 95% certainty that I'm in full control of the situation.
