This week I went flying my drone over the Sweetwater Dam. This is a spot that I've been wanting to go for a little while. In the area that I work, sometimes I have to drive on the hwy 125 towards hwy 54, and I've spotted this dam a few times from the freeway. I always tought it would be a nice place to take some drone pictures. It's a busy area, and I had to check a few options on the map to take off, and since I was in the area this week, I took the opportunity to go check out the Sweetwater Summit Regional Park. The park is located about 1km away from the dam, but my concern was that there is a small hill in between and I would loose connection with the drone if I go too low after the hill. I did loose it for a bit, but no big deal. It was quick flight, and I really liked the result. These pictures came out pretty good, it is a very impressive structure.

Essa semana eu fui voar o meu drone sobre a Represa de Sweetwater. Este é um lugar que eu ja queria ir a algum tempo. Na área onde trabalho, as vezes tenho que passar dirigindo pela autoestrada 125 em direção a autoestrada 54, e é possível ver a represa do carro. Eu sempre imaginei que seria um lugar interessante para tirar umas fotos com o drone. Esta área é muito movimentada, e eu tive que checar no mapa algumas opções para decolar, e como eu estava de passagem por lá essa semana, resolvi dar uma olhada no Sweetwater Summit Regional Park. O parque esta localizado a aproximadamente 1km de distancia da represa, mas minha preocupação era um pequeno morro entre o parque e a represa, onde eu poderia perder a conexão com o drone se eu fosse muito baixo depois do morro. Eu cheguei a perder um pouco o contato, mas nada demais. Foi um voo rapido, mas gostei bastante do resultado. As fotos ficaram bem legais, é uma estrutura impressionante.
