Birthday celebration is the kind of celebration that almost everyone loves to celebrate because it's a unique celebration that everyone is entitled to, some people could claim that they tend to forget about it maybe because they are busy, some other people would remember about about it a month before their birthday month.
Last Saturday my younger brother was plus 1, he kept reminding us almost two weeks before that day, well I almost forgot about it maybe because it's not my birthday but thanks for his constant reminder, he's actually our last-born and his name is Solomon.
To be honest, that day I had less cash on me but at least I bought him a drink, there wasn't much money during that time so we didn't throw any big celebration for him, he only got his friends and some other people to play a birthday football match for him of which I was absent, I was busy at work so I didn't get the time to attend his birthday match.
What Matters the most
What Matters the most was the love we showed him, there wasn't enough money and for some people it would make them feel bad, thank God he understood what was important, at least with the little we had, we were able to buy him few things to share with his friends after the played the birthday match.
I remember when I was born, I and my siblings were almost at sleep when we heard that my mother had given birth, we were anxious to see the child so we lost interest in sleeping, when my mum arrived, everybody was egger to carry the child, now he has grown so big I can't even carry him.
I remember some memories we had together, I taught him how to play football but right now he plays more than I do, I don't even have passion for football anymore, I taught him many more things because I'm the first male child in my family, even though he was sometimes stubborn.
That day was special to me because it was special to him and he's my younger brother, my joy was that he was happy after everything, that day made me learn that money isn't everything, I didn't have money but I showed him love with the little I had.
