¡Hola amigos!. ¡Hoy es Jueves de #Tbt! 😍 Y en esta ocasión me traslado a mis recuerdos del 2019 para compartirles uno de los momentos más alegres de esta linda parejita. Se trata del concierto de la primera 9na Sinfonía de Beethoven que @Jhoxiris cantó como Soprano solista, un evento que se llevó a cabo en la imponente Aula Magna de la Universidad Central de Venezuela, en Caracas...
This day was special for many reasons. To begin with, it was Mother's Day and both mothers travelled from Maracay to Caracas to spend it with us at the concert. It was the first time that Jhoxiris sang in front of a symphony orchestra as the main soloist, so the presence of her mother raised the adrenaline to the limit, because unlike my parents, she had never even been to a Jhoxi choral concert in her whole life. I mean, I don't think she even imagined her daughter's real voice. My dad stayed in Maracay very jealous of not having been invited hahaha, but not everyone could fit in our small residence and the mums won because it was their day.
Este día fue especial por muchísimos motivos. Para comenzar era el día de las madres y ambas mamás viajaron desde Maracay para Caracas a pasarla con nosotros en ese concierto. Era la primera vez que Jhoxiris cantaba frente a una orquesta sinfónica como solista principal, así que la presencia de su mamá elevó la adrenalina al límite, porque a diferencia de mis padres, ella nunca había ido ni siquiera a un concierto coral de Jhoxi en toda su vida. Osea, creo que ni se imaginaba la verdadera voz de su hija. Mi papá se quedó en Maracay bien celoso de no haber sido invitado jajaja, pero es que no todos cabían en nuestra pequeña residencia y las mamás ganaron por ser su día.
I confess that I was like crazy that day, I remember it with great affection and joy, but at the same time the stress was so great hahaha. I bought that beautiful pink dress for her, but with her money 😅 in fact she also gave me my suit and I wore it for the first time at this concert. For two weeks I made sure she didn't put on weight so she could show it off, I was a photographer, I was a tour guide for the mums, I helped her get dressed, I welcomed some friends who didn't know how to get there and finally I went up to sing in the choir, and I want you to know that I was one step away from staying in the audience enjoying the moment, but how could I say no to Beethoven? ❤️
Les confieso que yo estaba como loco ese día, lo recuerdo con mucho cariño y alegría, pero a la vez el estrés fue tan grande jajaja. Ese hermoso vestido rosado se lo compré yo, pero con dinero de ella 😅 de hecho mi traje me lo regaló ella también y en este concierto me lo estrené. Por dos semanas me encargué de que no engordara para que pudiera lucirlo, fui fotógrafo, fui guía de turismo de las mamás, la ayudé a vestirse, recibí a unos amigos que no sabían llegar y finalmente me subí a cantar en el coro, y quiero que sepan que estuve a un paso de quedarme en el público disfrutando el momento, pero ¿cómo negarse a Beethoven? ❤️
That whole season since she auditioned with other sopranos to be the soloist was a time of great growth for both of them. It showed us that you only need to dream it when you've already come so far to make it happen. She still didn't think she was ready, or at least that's what she said, but finally I convinced her and she convinced herself, she tried, she was the lead and then she excelled on stage, it was the first of many challenges that would follow. Incredibly I sang in front of a symphony orchestra before her, but it doesn't compare in quality, but I'm still chasing that video in good quality to see if it ever sees the sunlight in Hive 🤣
Toda esa temporada desde que ella hizo la audición junto a otras sopranos para ser la solista fue de gran crecimiento para ambos. Nos demostró que solo hace falta soñarlo cuando ya se tiene tanto camino recorrido para hacerlo realidad. Ella aún pensaba que no estaba lista, o al menos eso decía, pero finalmente la convencí y se convenció a sí misma, lo intentó, quedó como protagonista y luego se lució en tarima, fue el primero de tantos retos que vendrían a continuación. Increíblemente yo canté frente a una orquesta sinfónica primero que ella, pero no se compara en calidad, pero sigo detrás de ese video en buena calidad a ver si algún día ve la luz del sol en Hive 🤣
Like the Teatro Teresa Carreño, the Aula Magna of the UCV is one of the most important halls in the country. The first time I sang there was in 2011, precisely a Beethoven where Jhoxi and I were only in the choir, and although I'm still in the choir, at least she has stepped on that stage like the great artist she is. I've been looking for a while for the videos that my mum recorded that day, but I still can't find them, so I apologise for that great detail, but I made sure that there were photographs of that special day, full of firsts and that we treasure with our souls. In the picture above you can see my girl with her mum, and in the picture below you can see my mum 
Al igual que el Teatro Teresa Carreño, el Aula Magna de la UCV es una de las salas más importantes del país. La primera vez que canté ahí fue en 2011, precisamente un Beethoven donde Jhoxi y yo solo eramos del coro, y aunque yo sigo siendo del coro, al menos ella ha pisado esa tarima como la gran artista que es. Tengo rato buscando los videos que mi mamá grabó ese día, pero aún no los encuentro, así que pido disculpas por ese gran detalle, pero me encargué de que quedaran fotografías de ese día tan especial, lleno de primeras veces y que atesoramos con el alma. En la foto de arriba pueden ver a mi chica con su mamá, y en la de abajo pueden ver a mi mamá
The rest of the pictures where I don't appear were taken by me. I'm glad I got them in such a good resolution still, I've done a great job saving this treasure and now I'm sharing it in this fun Thursday community. El resto de las fotografías donde no aparezco sí que fueron tomadas por mí. Me alegra haberlas conseguido en tan buena resolución aún, he hecho un gran trabajo guardando este tesoro y ahora lo comparto en esta divertida comunidad de los Jueves.
