Today I'd like to share a lovely, relatively recent memory with you. As usual, my sister and I were out exploring the city, doing our research and running errands, like we do every week. But the sun was very strong and it was incredibly hot, especially since we were riding her moped and the sun was beating down on us. We needed something delicious and refreshing. I immediately suggested ice cream, maybe at McDonald's or one of the restaurants or cafes in the area, but my sister, without hesitation, suggested something better: a Greek-themed ice cream shop she had visited once with her friends. So she took me there, and I was absolutely delighted.
Hoy me gustaría comparir con ustedes un hermoso recuerdo relativamente reciente. Como siempre yo andaba conmi hermana recorriendo la ciudad mientras creábamos contenido y hacíamos algunas diligencias, como hacemos cada semana, pero el sol era muy fuerte y había demasiado calor, en especial porque andabamos en su bicimoto electrica y el sol nos castigaba, así que necesitabamos algo rico y refrescante. yo enseguida sugeri unos helados, quizá en Mcdonals o en alguno de los restaurantes o cafés que hay por la zona, pero mi hermana sin dudarlo sugirió algo mejor, una heladería con temática griega que ella había visitado una vez con sus amigos, así que me llevó allí y yo quedé maravillada.
They only serve Greek yogurt ice cream, but don't be fooled, it's not yogurt-flavored ice cream, it's real frozen yogurt. It's incredibly delicious and healthy. Of course, I'm only talking about the ice cream because the toppings range from the healthiest to the most tempting but high-calorie, haha. I ordered one of those with peanut topping, brownie, and a delicious dulce de leche syrup (it's okay to indulge once in a while 😊). But what impressed me most was the aesthetic of the place itself; you really feel like you're in Greece.
Solo sirven helados de yogur griego, pero no se confundan, no es helado con sabor a yogur, sino ygur real helado, es sumamente delicioso y saludable, claro, hablo solo del helado porque los toppings varan desde los más saludables hasta los más tentadores pero llenos de calorías, jaja yo ordené uno de esos, con topping de mani, y brownie y un delicioso sirope de dulce de leche (se vale pecar de vez en cuando 😊) pero lo que más me impresionó fue en si la estética del lugar, de verdad te sientes estando grecia.
The ice cream shop is entirely inspired by the town of Mykonos, one of the most beautiful islands, where most of the houses are white with blue roofs, windows, doors, and lintels, and that's what predominates in this ice cream shop. It's also decorated with many Greek elements, so it looks very pretty. The best part is that at that time there weren't many people, just the two of us and a family that arrived later.
La heladería está totalmente inspirada en la ciudad de Myconos, una de las más hermosas islas, donde la mayoría de las casas son blancas con techos, ventanas, puertas y dinteles de color azul, y eso es lo que predomina en esta heladería. también está adornada con muchos elementos griegos, así que se ve muy bonita, lo mejor de todo es que a esa hora no había mucha gente, solo nosotras dos y una familia que llegó después.
My little sister was happy because the next day was her birthday, so I took advantage of the moment we were there and asked her to wait for me while I went to buy her present.
Mi herananita estaba feliz porque al día siguiente estaría de cumpleaños, así que yo aproveché el momento en que estábamos ahí y le pedí que me esperara mientras yo iba a comprar su regalo.
