Hello, dear Hive friends! It’s been a while since I last shared anything here, but today, Google Photos reminded me of this beautiful memory, and I couldn't pass up the chance to share it with all of you.
Este día fue muy especial porque pude compartir con mi hermano y su bella familia. Nos fuimos de paseo al Zoológico de Caricuao, aquí en Caracas, Venezuela. El Parque Zoológico de Caricuao es el más grande de la capital. Es conocido por ser un "zoológico abierto", donde muchas especies (especialmente los monos capuchinos y las iguanas) andan libres por las caminerías, permitiendo un contacto mucho más directo con la naturaleza en medio de la ciudad.
This day was truly special because I got to spend quality time with my brother and his lovely family. We took a trip to the Caricuao Zoo here in Caracas, Venezuela. Caricuao Zoo is the largest in the city. It is known for being an "open-concept" park, where many species—especially capuchin monkeys and iguanas—roam freely along the paths, allowing for a much more direct connection with nature right in the middle of the capital.
Es uno de mis sitios favoritos para reconectar. Aunque siendo sincera, ¡en la actualidad lo que más abundan son los monos! 🤣 Pero sigue siendo un lugar hermoso para caminar, conversar y reír.
It is one of my favorite places to disconnect and recharge. To be honest, these days the monkeys practically run the place! 🤣 But it remains a beautiful spot to walk, talk, and laugh.
Como ya hemos ido muchas veces, en esa ocasión no nos enfocamos tanto en ver a todos los animales, sino en disfrutar de las áreas verdes. Improvisamos un pequeño picnic, muy sencillo pero lleno de significado. Tenía meses sin compartir así con ellos, y definitivamente eso fue lo más especial: la familia, las risas y los abrazos.
Since we have been there many times before, this time we didn't focus so much on the animals; instead, we enjoyed the green areas. We had a simple, improvised picnic. It had been months since I had shared such a nice moment with my brother and my little niece, and honestly, that was the best part of the day: the family, the laughter, and the hugs.
