Today is the perfect day to drive around in this old but pretty car, Mercedes-Benz 280 SE.
I'll take the steering wheel as it's on my side of the screen. Yeah, I know, you can see it from the same angle right now, but I have the keys for it. And the fuel - that will be the story that will accompany this post. A story that starts with the very famous phrase: Erase una vez... {that would be Once upon a time in English}.
Once upon a time, there was an Events Fair where a few artistic souls gathered to decorate in a magical way our world. Miss Peacock, an elegant bird with a natural crown, majestically showed her long feathers. She imagined being a bride, wearing a white wedding dress.
There were a few mirrors, vintage clocks, flowers and little messages in her room. You could think that she was waiting for the groom, but actually, Miss Peacock was a solitary soul and came here just to participate in this event as the other artists did. To share, to build dreams, to give hope to those who would like to celebrate some special moments in their lives.
After some hours, she got a bit tired. Many visitors came to this Fair and she, as an educated peacock, greeted everyone. Additional energy was needed, like an adrenaline shot.
A little mischief would be great for that... at that moment she spotted this beautiful classic car. She would steal borrow that car and drive away. To the lavender fields, snowy mountain peaks, wide beaches, and dense forests. The journey would last as long as someone would notice her absence and call her back to the fair.
We don't know how much time Miss Peacock enjoyed her journey.
I just heard one little girl screaming in the hall. Mom, look, something happened to the white bird. Is she ill? She lies lifeless on the floor... please, let's help her.
We all quickly ran there. One doctor crouched down and checked her pulse - she was alive!!
It just happened that Miss Peacock fell asleep and had a dream...
Dramatic moment - she was a bit annoyed that we woke her up!
Just as she was running barefoot on the juicy grass of the green pastures, we brought her back to reality. Well, it wasn't bad either, she was still wearing the white long dress and everyone was happy to see her healthy and alive. Also, music was there to ease her grumpiness.
The concert started some minutes after this accident with the peacock.
Oh, it was the turn of the pianist.
Ten fingers started their dance on the keys, bringing chords of tension and melodies of charm. That was a mixture of sounds that had the aim to take the listeners to the places from Miss Peacock's dream.
I suppose that would be the end of this story... which had to be a different post actually, a Throwback Thursday post, but that Once upon a time from Miss Peacock's room brought us here.
If someone is interested in seeing the real story about this Fair that happened at the end of the 2019 year, it can be seen here, however, if you are fine with this version, no need to open the additional link. 😁
