I think it's all cooked up nicely today for a #tbt post. I met this guy during my evening walk who came his native home for some work. The problem with the village people is that they have a big mouth. They never spare a chance to boast about themselves. Living in metropolitan cities for them is like living in heaven and assume that others are not aware of the culture and the glamorous lifestyle. He was mouthjng about a 5-star hotel where he use to work. And that mere conversation took me to my only experience of living in a 5-Star hotels.
Five-star hotels are known to be some of the most glamorous hospitality locations in the world due to the level of service they provide.
There are many big names operating 5 star hotel business around the world. Such hotels provides a luxurious experience and high-end accommodations. For any person who belongs from a middle class, it is not possible to stay in a five-star hotel due to its expensiveness. However, I would consider myself very privileged to have this first opportunity availed at the company cost. I travelled to a different location within India for work and the company arranged all the accommodation at Grand Hyatt groups of Hotels. I was accompanied with my team mates who was more excited than me to live few day of lavishness.
It was my first time, So I was quite nervous to speak to anybody. However, Thanks to company's travel department, everything was done in advance and only needed to show my Identity. After completing the check in formalities, I collected the Room passes and went towards the room which was on 3rd floor. These luxurious hotels have electronic room lock system rather than carrying a big heavy keys. It took us time to locate our room. The entire corridor was empty and very silent.
We open the door, and both of us was too eager to capture the moment. the rooms was not big enough, but enough to accomodate two of us. There was a huge glass window, a big cozy bed, TV, a separate work space, and rest you can find out in these pictures. :)
The benefit of staying in 5 star hotels is that the rooms will have all the basic stuff that you can think off. You can always ask for whatever things you need. Be it, grooming kit, body lotions and other toiletries (i know there are many people who bring them these home), bath robes, towels etc. Tea/Coffee sachets, water bottles etc.
There is a mini-bar/refrigerator at room. It will be having some beer, scotch, wine, cold drinks, nuts. Again, these are not complimentary, and are very expensive. So, just think before opening one. The bills for these were going to be included in your check out time.
The bedroom has attached shower and washroom area. The sufficient space were provided for the closet and also for pressing your cloth. In short it was kind of a second home with all the basic facilities provided keeping in mind the customer requirement.
By now you might have judged my level of excitement, as I was enjoying every moment of the luxury. I photographed everything, just to make it a lifetime experience.
The other thing, that I like most bout 5-stars are their Breakfast menu. It was complimentary and included with the room charges. There was a big hall area, where the breakfast was spread across over different tables. Each of the table had different option to choose from. It was a multi cusines breakfast for me. One can start from basic fruits and juices, eat English breakfast like egg, toast etc, enjoy Indian dishes like Poori, Paranthe and Idlis, and in the end have some Doughnuts, cakes etc. There was no limit one can, eat as much as they can, nobody is going to stop from that.
There is many things to talk about. I was enjoying my life for few days. Such opportunities gets rarely. A 5star hotel is not happening regular, other than going there for a purpose, it is impossible for an average person to just go there for relaxation or for leisure. So I made my most of the opportunity, and here I am sharing all the nostalgic memory. It was really enjoyable time and a good experience of the luxury hospitality.
