1. Cuéntanos un poco de ti. ¿Quién eres fuera de la pantalla de Hive?
Fuera de Hive, soy Madeleine, una mujer aparentemente normal un poco introvertida aunque no lo crean, pero que trabaja duro para que la gente sonría con confianza. En mi profesión como odontóloga, logro mezclar tres cosas que me apasionan: el arte, la ciencia y esa "magia" clínica de transformar realidades. Vivo en Caracas, Venezuela, y en cuanto a mis hobbies, no le temo a experimentar. A veces me siento un poco como Barbie: "sé lo que quieras ser". He pasado por muchas facetas, pero todo lo que hago tiene un propósito y un sentido que converge y eso es precisamente lo que verán reflejado en mi blog.
2. ¿Cómo llegaste a Hive y cuál fue tu primera impresión?
Siempre digo "que lo que es para ti, te encuentra". Llegué a Hive por curiosidad, viendo la laptop de mi hermano. Eran tiempos económicamente difíciles, yo cursaba mi último año de universidad y mi tiempo para un trabajo formal era muy limitado. Él me lo presentó como una opción para generar ingresos extras y costear la sobrevivencia en la ciudad universitaria, pero lo que nació por necesidad, se transformó en algo mucho más profundo. Eso sí, mi primera impresión fue de total desconcierto: “¿Qué se supone que debo hacer aquí y sobre qué voy a escribir?”.
3. ¿Cuál es la diferencia más grande que ves entre las redes sociales convencionales (Web2) y Hive?
Creo que la gran diferencia es la "fatiga emocional" de la Web2. En plataformas como Instagram o TikTok, dependes de algoritmos y tendencias que se consumen demasiado rápido; es difícil encontrar tus propios colores allí. En cambio, en Hive trabajas desde tu identidad. Tienes el tiempo para asimilar lo que te funciona, permitiéndote evolucionar y cambiar mientras mantienes la dedicación y construyes confianza con la comunidad.
4. Si tuvieras que definir Hive en una sola frase, ¿cuál sería?
"El lugar perfecto para conocerte a ti mismo". Al no estar atados a reglas rígidas, con el tiempo nuestro blog se convierte en un mapa del alma que registra nuestros procesos, vivencias, motivaciones y frustraciones.
5. ¿En qué comunidades sueles publicar o interactuar con frecuencia y por qué?
Me muevo mucho en Lifestyle y admiro profundamente el trabajo en Needleworkmonday (¡siempre intento unirme a sus procesos!). Últimamente, estoy venciendo el miedo de mostrar un poco del arte con el que ando experimentando. Aunque mi vida offline a veces me quita presencia, trato de que el tiempo que paso aquí sea de máxima calidad, con buen contenido e interacciones reales y significativas para la comunidad.
6. ¿Cuál ha sido tu mayor logro o la experiencia más gratificante en Hive?
Sin duda, ponerle rostro a las personas con las que interactúo constantemente. Conocer a otros Hivers en persona es una experiencia sumamente gratificante que rompe la barrera de la pantalla.
7. ¿Qué fue lo más difícil de aprender en tus inicios?
El Markdown. Confieso que todavía hay cosas que me cuestan; no soy la más audaz con los maquetados, ¡pero ahí voy, aprendiendo en el camino! eso es lo bonito de la vida que siempre puedes seguir aprendiendo.
8. ¿Cómo describirías tu visión a futuro dentro del ecosistema?
Esto va a ser descabellado pero desde que vi que mis posibilidades son infinitas aquí en Hive y descubrí que puedo dibujar, me proyecto a ilustrar figuras interactivas para aplicaciones o para algún videojuego o serie animada, hecha aquí mi momento más delulu tal vez pero creo que mientras crecemos en tecnología y mis habilidades crecen, podré convertir este sueño en una realidad tangible en unos años. Hive es el laboratorio donde estoy gestando esa nueva faceta y sé que la tecnología, la adopción y la credibilidad nos hará evolucionar y llegar más lejos.
9. ¿Qué consejo le darías a un hiver que apenas está comenzando?
Sé tú mismo, mantente constante y, lo más importante: haz comunidad. Hive no es un monólogo, es una conversación, es importante interactuar para avanzar.
10. Si quieres explicarle Hive a un familiar o amigo para que se una, ¿qué le dirías?
¡Definitivamente no les diría lo que me dijeron a mí! 🤣 . Les diría que Hive es la vitrina ideal para mostrar su talento y ser valorados por ello de una forma que ninguna otra red social ofrece.
11. ¿Has tenido alguna experiencia con Hispapro?
Sí, conozco a Hispapro casi desde sus inicios. Admiro mucho que hayan mantenido la constancia a través del tiempo. Me encantaba asistir a sus actividades en Discord; siempre lograban que el aprendizaje fuera enriquecedor y, sobre todo, muy divertido.

1. Tell us a little about yourself. Who are you outside of Hive?
Outside of Hive, I'm Madeleine, a seemingly normal woman who is a bit introverted, believe it or not, but who works hard to make people smile with confidence. In my profession as a dentist, I manage to combine three things I'm passionate about: art, science, and that clinical "magic" of transforming realities. I live in Caracas, Venezuela, and when it comes to my hobbies, I'm not afraid to experiment. Sometimes I feel a bit like Barbie: "I know what you want to be." I've gone through many phases, but everything I do has a purpose and meaning that converges, and that's precisely what you'll see reflected in my blog.
2. How did you come to Hive and what was your first impression?
I always say, "what is meant for you will find you." I came to Hive out of curiosity, looking at my brother's laptop. Those were difficult times financially, I was in my last year of college, and my time for a formal job was very limited. He presented it to me as an option to generate extra income and cover my living expenses in the university town, but what was born out of necessity turned into something much deeper. Of course, my first impression was one of total confusion: "What am I supposed to do here and what am I going to write about?"
3. What is the biggest difference you see between conventional social media (Web2) and Hive?
I think the big difference is the "emotional fatigue" of Web2. On platforms like Instagram or TikTok, you depend on algorithms and trends that are consumed too quickly; it's hard to find your own colors there. On Hive, however, you work from your identity. You have the time to assimilate what works for you, allowing you to evolve and change while maintaining dedication and building trust with the community.
4. If you had to define Hive in one sentence, what would it be?
"The perfect place to get to know yourself." By not being tied to rigid rules, over time our blog becomes a map of the soul that records our processes, experiences, motivations, and frustrations.
5. Which communities do you usually post or interact with frequently and why?
I'm very active in Lifestyle and deeply admire the work at Needleworkmonday (I always try to join in their processes!). Lately, I'm overcoming my fear of showing a little of the art I'm experimenting with. Although my offline life sometimes takes me away, I try to make the time I spend here top quality, with good content and real, meaningful interactions for the community.
6. What has been your greatest achievement or most rewarding experience at Hive?
Without a doubt, putting faces to the people I interact with constantly. Meeting other Hivers in person is an extremely rewarding experience that breaks down the barrier of the screen.
7. What was the most difficult thing to learn when you started?
Markdown. I confess that there are still things that I find difficult; I'm not the most daring with layouts, but I'm getting there, learning as I go! That's the beauty of life, that you can always keep learning.
8. How would you describe your vision for the future within the ecosystem?
This is going to sound crazy, but since I saw that my possibilities are endless here at Hive and discovered that I can draw, I envision myself illustrating interactive figures for applications or for a video game or animated series. This may be my most delusional moment, but I believe that as we grow in technology and my skills grow, I will be able to turn this dream into a tangible reality in a few years. Hive is the laboratory where I am developing this new facet, and I know that technology, adoption, and credibility will help us evolve and go further.
9. What advice would you give to a Hiver who is just starting out?
Be yourself, stay consistent, and most importantly, build community. Hive is not a monologue, it's a conversation. It's important to interact in order to move forward.
10. If you wanted to explain Hive to a family member or friend so they would join, what would you say?
I definitely wouldn't tell them what they told me! 🤣 I would tell them that Hive is the ideal showcase to display their talent and be valued for it in a way that no other social network offers.
11. Have you had any experience with Hispapro?
Yes, I've known Hispapro almost since its inception. I really admire how they've remained consistent over time. I loved attending their activities on Discord; they always made learning enriching and, above all, a lot of fun.
