¡Nueva página de “Ángel Guardián”!
A pesar que Gersiel es un guerrero con mucha experiencia en el campo de batalla, su lado noble está siempre presente. Es por eso que nunca tomaría ventaja ante un enemigo si sabe que no están en igualdad de condiciones. No siente la necesidad de mostrar su poder o supremacía ante un enemigo caído.
Tal vez haya algunos que lo consideren un signo de debilidad, sobre todos sus detractores que buscan siempre la forma de convertirlo en objeto de burla, sin embargo, él ha aprendido a sobrepasar esas provocaciones y prefiere hacer lo que considera correcto, aun cuando sabe que su enemigo jamás tomaría esas consideraciones para con él.
Esta página me resultó divertida ponerla a color. Me estoy interesando en hacer efectos especiales al estilo del anime retro, que he estado estudiando últimamente.
Me gusta ver cómo resolvían crear ciertos efectos cuando no se tenía apoyo de programas especiales para ello y el uso del color era primordial para lograr la sensación visual que ahora se puede hacer con algunos pluggins o efectos en aplicaciones de edición de video.
Mi interés en esto es que una vez entiendes la base o cómo conceptualizar eso, ya puedes sacarles más provecho a las herramientas actuales, así que lo tomo como lecciones que voy practicando y añadiendo a mi trabajo cuando se da la oportunidad.
Creo que, si dibujara nuevamente estas páginas hoy día, le daría más espacio a las primeras viñetas ya que es el cierre de una acción. ¡Es increíble cómo se cambia de visión sobre la misma cosa con unos cuantos años de diferencia!

New page of "Angel Guardian"!
Even though Gersiel is a warrior with a lot of experience on the battlefield, his noble side is always present. That is why he would never take advantage of an enemy if he knows they are not on equal terms. He does not feel the need to show his power or supremacy over a fallen enemy.
There may be some who consider this a sign of weakness, especially his detractors who always seek a way to make him an object of ridicule; however, he has learned to rise above these provocations and prefers to do what he believes is right, even when he knows that his enemy would never consider such things in relation to him.
I found it fun to color this page. I am becoming interested in creating special effects in the style of retro anime, which I have been studying lately.
I like to see how they resolved the creation of certain effects when there was no support from special programs for it, and the use of color was essential to achieve the visual sensation that can now be done with some plugins or effects in video editing applications.
My interest in this is that once you understand the basics or how to conceptualize it, you can make better use of current tools, so I take it as lessons that I am practicing and adding to my work whenever the opportunity arises.
I believe that if I were to redraw these pages today, I would give more space to the first panels since it is the closing of an action. It's incredible how one's perspective on the same thing changes with just a few years of difference!
