Antes que oficializaran que Wesley y Joanne era padre e hija, ya me parecía que la relación entre ellos era esa.
No sé si fue el estudio del diseño o leer la historia de ambos personajes, pero para mí ese era el vínculo que había entre ellos.
No sólo tenían parecido físico, sino que ambos usan la misma frase “Por la familia y el país”.
Así que, pensando que ellos eran padre e hija, quise reflejar una escena de lo que sería cuando Wesley regresa a casa después de una batalla.
En el juego, hay varias batallas y eventos que se llevan a cabo mensualmente y uno de los más fuertes es el Kingdom Clash.
El sistema selecciona aleatoriamente algunos reinos que se enfrentarán por 24 horas. Hay actividades para todos ya que los castillos con menor nivel, pueden dedicarse a cosechar materiales y recursos del reino al que estén atacando. También pueden cazar monstruos allí y eso dará puntos tanto al jugador como a su gremio.
Para los castillos con más nivel y mejores equipados para batallas hay actividades más grandes como atacar las fortalezas y las maravillas. También aprovechan de atacar a los campos que están siendo cosechados por los enemigos para eliminar soldados y ganar puntos. Hay que tener mucha precaución durante el evento y apenas se reciba la notificación de que están espiando el campo donde tienes los soldados, retirarlos antes que te ataquen y te los manden todos a la enfermería o, en el peor caso, te los eliminen totalmente y te toque entrenar nuevos soldados para restablecer las tropas.
Así que esas 24 horas son bastante intensas.
Wesley es uno de los héroes más comprometidos en cuidar al reino. Tiene una personalidad bastante graciosa para algunas cosas, pero no se puede negar que es muy poderoso y se toma las cosas en serio cuando está en batalla.
Tambien, ha sido un buen padre con Joanne, tanto que ella se convirtió en la Caballero de la Rosa para seguir los pasos de su padre a quien admira y con quien quiere compartir en el campo de batalla. Así que quise hacer una escena de él, ya después de haber llegado de un Kingdom Clash descansando y cuidando a su pequeña hija quien está feliz de estar con él.
Por supuesto, el pobre está todo lastimado después de tanta pelea pero…qué importa si pudo mantener la paz y la calma en su reino para seguir dándole un buen lugar para vivir a su hija y a las personas del reino que protege.
Tal vez escriba una historia corta basada en la ilustración. ¿Les gustaría eso?

Before they officially announced that Wesley and Joanne were father and daughter, it already seemed to me that their relationship was exactly that.
I don't know if it was studying design or reading the story of both characters, but for me, that was the bond between them.
Not only did they have a physical resemblance, but they also used the same phrase "For kin and country."
So, thinking that they were father and daughter, I wanted to reflect a scene of what it would be like when Wesley returns home after a battle.
In the game, there are several battles and events that take place monthly, and one of the strongest is the Kingdom Clash.
The system randomly selects some kingdoms that will face each other for 24 hours. There are activities for everyone, as lower-level castles can harvest materials and resources from the kingdom they are attacking. They can also hunt monsters there, which will give points to both the player and their guild.
For higher-level castles that are better equipped for battles, there are bigger activities such as attacking fortresses and wonders. They also take advantage of attacking the fields that are being harvested by enemies to eliminate soldiers and earn points. You have to be very careful during the event, and as soon as you receive a notification that your soldiers' field is being spied on, withdraw them before they attack and send them all to the infirmary or, in the worst case, eliminate them completely and have to train new soldiers to replenish the troops.
So those 24 hours are quite intense.
Wesley is one of the most dedicated heroes in caring for the kingdom. He has a quite funny personality for some things, but it cannot be denied that he is very powerful and takes things seriously when he is in battle.
Also, he has been a good father to Joanne, so much so that she became the Knight of the Rose to follow in her father's footsteps whom she admires and wants to share the battlefield with. So, I wanted to create a scene of him, after having returned from a Kingdom Clash, resting and taking care of his little daughter who is happy to be with him.
Of course, poor Wesley is all bruised after so much fighting, but... what does it matter if he was able to maintain peace and calm in his kingdom to continue providing a good place to live for his daughter and the people of the kingdom he protects.
