Welcome to my blog, where I talk about the games I play, my experience while playing them, and anything game-related.
When I came across the prompt from the midnight community about what your excuse is for staying up late. I knew immediately that mine is gaming. It has always been right from the time, and that is how it has been. I could stay on my phone all night playing games when I was much younger, and during the day, it was dawning on me that I had not slept well. Now it is no different, being older, the only difference now is on my console or my laptop.
It is either UFL, NBA2K, Warframe, Destiny 2, Asphalt of FC Mobile, but it is either one game or another, and this midnight it has happened to be poker this midnight. Poker is one game I taught myself how to play by reading the poker for dummies book, and it was not all that bad. Since then, I have loved the game, although I am still one you can consider a scared risk taker on the table. Once I win a big round, I run to another table or call it quits for the night. But tonight I decided, what if I do something different and put the pressure on my opponent by going all in with every little opportunity I get a good hand, even if it is just a single hand.
This kind of play is very risky because if a player calls your bluff with a strong hand, then you just have to hope that your cards are much better than the other player's. The thing is, the bigger the risk, the more the pay or outcome, that is undeniable. I tried it out, and it worked the first time, but I was pretty lucky for that one because the other player who challenged my call ended up having the same high card as me, which led to us splitting the pot equally. For a second, I thought it was a little bit different for any of us; it was all bye-bye to the other player who was short.
Gaming has always been my excuse, and it will forever be my excuse. The question is what the game is and how long I will be up. For this, it depends on whether I am enjoying the game or not. If I am enjoying the game, then we stay up all through the night, and then we sleep during the day if it falls on a weekend.
