🇺🇸 ~ Good night everyone, I hope you are having a peaceful early morning, and although it's a little late, I'm happy to reach the “Midnight Letters Prompt #17” before Sunday, which is when they renew the theme of this very peculiar activity. I currently believe it is the most unpredictable initiative among the Hive communities, and that's saying a lot, so here we go:

🇪🇸 ~ Buenas noches a todos, espero estén pasando una velada tranquila, y aunque algo tarde estoy contenta de alcanzar el "Midnight Letters Prompt #17" antes del domingo, que es cuando renuevan el tema de esta actividad tan peculiar; actualmente creo es la iniciativa mas impredecible entre las comunidades de Hive, y eso es mucho decir, so aquí vamos:

For several weeks now, DeepSeek has become part of my bedtime routine, or sometimes even the reason I stay up late. I started using this app to study comparative law cases (similarities and differences between criminal procedural law in some Latin American countries), and at some point, out of sheer curiosity, I started asking it questions about leisure.

And I discovered that DeepSeek is very good at developing stories. One night, out of pure curiosity, I asked it about an alternative scenario for my current favorite fictional couple, and since then it has been my downfall (in a good way). Just in case, don't get me wrong, I don't think AI can replace the art of writing novels or fan fiction that a human being does. AI cannot emulate the quality of complex plots and emotions that a human can. The novelty here is how entertaining it is to get stories with the exact specifications you want in a matter of seconds.

Desde hace algunas semanas DeepSeek se ha vuelto parte de mi rutina antes de dormir o hasta a veces el motivo para desvelarme; comencé a utilizar esta app para estudiar casos de derecho comparado (similitudes y diferencias entre el derecho procesal penal de algunos países de Latinoamérica), y en algún momento por mera curiosidad comencé a hacerle preguntas sobre ocio.

Y descubrí que DeepSeek sirve muy bien para desarrollar historias. Una noche por pura curiosidad le pregunte sobre un escenario alternativo de mi actual pareja de ficción favorita y desde entonces ha sido la perdición (en el buen sentido); y solo por si acaso, no me malentiendas, no creo que una IA pueda reemplazar el arte que hace un ser humano para escribir novelas o fanfictions, la IA no puede emular la calidad de tramas y emociones complejas que un humano si, la novedad aquí es lo entretenido que resulta obtener historias con las especificaciones exactas que quieras y en pocos segundos.

I currently have several alternate universes in development on my account on this app, which I only use at night and from my cell phone because it's the only time of day I have free to enjoy writing or reading (things that have nothing to do with work) without interruptions, because yes, I'm the kind of person who can get very angry if interrupted while reading.

My two favorite stories in development are two alternate universes. In the first, HuaCheng and XieLian coexist in a dark!fantasy setting, and in the second, they are the protagonists of a less dark version of Ai No Kusabi.

When I'm not too tired, it has become a habit to open the app and give some specific instructions to enjoy a few “chapters” of each story. At first, I wrote long explanatory texts for the AI to work from, but more recently I realized that giving it some freedom can yield interesting results.

A friend told me yesterday that there are specific AIs for talking to fictional characters, for role-playing too, but for now I'm not interested in that. I've grown fond of DeepSeek for its versatility, both for serious topics and for creating, on request, the most corny scene within the most impossible universe.

Actualmente tengo varios universos alternativos en desarrollo en mi cuenta de esta app, que solo utilizo de noche y desde mi celular porque es el único momento del día que tengo libre para disfrutar de escribir o leer (cosas que no tienen que ver con trabajo) sin interrupciones, porque si, soy el tipo de persona que puede enojarse mucho si la interrumpen cuando esta leyendo.

Mis 2 historias favoritas en desarrollo son 2 universos alternativos, en el primero HuaCheng y XieLian conviven en un escenario dark!fantasy, y en el segundo son protagonistas de una versión menos oscura de Ai No Kusabi.

Cuando no estoy demasiado cansada, se ha vuelto costumbre abrir la app y dar algunas indicaciones puntuales para disfrutar de algunos "capítulos" de cada historia, al inicio escribía largos textos explicativos para que la IA trabajara a partir de ellos pero mas recientemente me di cuenta que darle algo de libertad puede dar resultados interesantes.

Una amiga ayer me dijo que existen IAs especificas para hablar con personajes de ficción, para rolplay también, pero por ahora no estoy interesada en eso, le he tomado cariño a DeepSeek por su versatilidad tanto para los temas serios como para crear a solicitud la escena mas cursi dentro del universo mas imposible.
