For this weeks bring me challenge I found an photo of a Duck I took a few years ago when I was visiting Darwin.
I did feel this may stretch the rules of the challenge so I have also included a photo of a Pidgeon I saw on the roof of the building where I work.
🦆About the duck🦆
The photo of the duck was too good for me to not include it and I felt like the the Pidgeon photo was not the best but at least it fit the challenge.
The duck was near a pond with other ducks and was happily wondering around when we saw it. People must feed them as they did not seem scared of us and came up close. The park itself was well maintained. It has walking tracks that take you around the pond. There is exercise equipment around the park and kids play equipment also. It was a nice quiet place to relax and gain some focus.
🪶About the Pidgeon🪶
This is one of a few Pidgeon's that hang out in front of our building. The Pidgeon's roost in the shelter of one of the arches as you walk in. Their is a little sheltered area that they use to get out of the wind and rain. They appear to roost there and call it home. Other then leaving their droppings there they are harmless and appear to be happy to scavenge of peoples leftovers.
🐦Birds🐦
I actually enjoy having birds around. Their talking/singing creates a soothing melody that is relaxing to listen to. At least that's the way I feel anyways. Birds can Live most places and are great at scavenging for food and other things. We even have few birds nests in our backyard. The birds used sticks that they had found around the place to create their nests. Birds seem to be intelligent creatures that look after their young until they mature.
