Summer heat doesn’t just make us tired, it also puts pressure on our heart. When it's hot, our body works harder to stay cool. This can lead to fast heartbeat, low blood pressure, and dehydration — which are not good for heart health.
That’s why it's very important to drink enough water in summer. Try to drink 8 to 10 glasses a day. Lemon water, coconut water, or fresh juices are great choices. Avoid too many cold drinks, tea, or coffee because they can make you lose more water.
Also, eat light food. I try to eat fruits like watermelon, cucumber, and oranges. These keep the body cool and help the heart too. Oily and spicy food should be avoided because they make you feel heavy and tired.
Try not to go outside when the sun is too strong, especially from 11 AM to 4 PM. If you must go, wear light clothes and stay in the shade. A cool and calm environment helps the heart stay relaxed.
In short, stay hydrated, eat light, avoid strong sun, and stay calm. These small things can protect your heart and keep you healthy all summer.
