A new hobbie 💅[Esp/Eng]

Ever since I was young, I’ve loved having long nails, and I used to be pretty basic with them — just gel, nail polish, and that was it. But over the past year, I’ve been practicing more and daring to try new trends.

Now I know the whole alphabet of nail tools, and with everything I have, I feel like a little girl playing 🥰 And I think that’s the beautiful thing about hobbies: they reconnect you with the part of yourself that still gets excited about experimenting.

I still haven’t decided how far I want to take this hobby, whether I’ll become more professional or not. But what I do know is that I’m going to enjoy the process. Everything I’ve learned has come from social media, and I know there’s still so much more to learn — but that’s the point: living it without pressure.

I started this hobby because of anxiety 😰 and it actually helps me regulate myself a lot. It calms me down and keeps me focused on the present — on the shapes and details.

Here I’m showing you some of the designs I’ve made 💕 Some are a little messy and others are more simple and calm. But it’s all part of the process. They’re still not perfect 💯 and honestly, that’s something I enjoy too 🥳

Desde siempre me han gustado llevar las uñas largas y siempre fui bastante básica, un gel, un esmalte y listo pero desde hace un año que he venido practicando y arriesgándome a probar tendencias. Me sé el abecedario de instrumentos y con lo que tengo me siento como niña jugando 🥰 y creo que eso es lo divertido de los hobbies, te hacen reconocer esa parte de ti que aún se ilusiona por experimentar.

Aún no decido cómo voy a llevar este hobbie, si me voy a profesionalizar o no pero lo que sí sé es que estaré disfrutando el proceso. Todo lo he aprendido en redes sociales y sé que aún hay mucho por aprender pero de eso se trata de vivirlo sin presión.

Inicié este hobbie por ansiedad 😰 y me ayuda a regularme bastante, me calma y me centra en el presente: las formas.

Aquí les muestro los diseños que he hecho 💕 algunos son un poco messy y otros son más tranquilos. Pero igual todo es parte del proceso aún no me sale perfecto 💯 y eso también se disfruta mucho 🥳
