Happy and blessed day, my dear friends. I hope you are all well, sharing time with your families in good health, wellbeing and harmony.
On a day of errands, from the window of a tall building in Bogotá, this urban landscape invites me to reflect on the balance between noise and silence, between movement and pause, between what I do and what I dream. When I have the opportunity to climb the tallest buildings in this beautiful city, I like to pause and take in the details that appear everywhere. The trees that soften the landscape and contrast with the buildings, the people walking by, unaware that someone is watching them with curiosity, some in a hurry and others unhurried.
From here, I feel close to everyday life. The lit windows, the silent balconies, the clean streets after the rain give me a feeling of shared home. I imagine stories behind each exposed window and thus entertain myself while I wait my turn.
Feliz y bendecido día, mis queridos amigos. Espero que estén muy bien, compartiendo en familia con salud, bienestar y armonía.
En un día de diligencias, desde la ventana de un alto edificio en Bogotá, este paisaje urbano me invita a reflexionar sobre el equilibrio entre el ruido y el silencio, entre el movimiento y la pausa, entre lo que hago y lo que sueño. Cuando tengo la oportunidad de subir a los edificios más altos de esta hermosa ciudad, me gusta detenerme en los detalles que aparecen por doquier. Los árboles que suavizan el paisaje y contrastan con las edificaciones, las personas que caminan, sin saber que alguien las observa con curiosidad, unos apurados y otros sin prisa.
Desde aquí siento cercanía con lo cotidiano. Las ventanas encendidas, los balcones silenciosos, las calles limpias después de la lluvia me transmiten una sensación de hogar compartido. Me imagino historias detrás de cada ventana al descubierto y así me entretengo, mientras espero mi turno.
These tall, modern buildings make me think about everything that had to happen for them to rise up so imposingly, how each floor was built with patience, daily effort, and decisions that support what we see today as complete and beautiful. And I think that life is built in the same way, step by step, without unnecessary haste, learning to trust the process.
I feel that this city accompanies me, contains me and always reminds me that being part of something bigger is also a way of belonging. From this point, I move forward, with a calm step and an attentive gaze, grateful for what I continue to build.
Estas construcciones altas y modernas me hacen pensar en todo lo que tuvo que pasar para que se levantaran imponentes, en que cada piso fue levantado con paciencia, con esfuerzo diario, con decisiones que sostienen lo que hoy se ve completo y hermoso. Y pienso que así mismo también se construye la vida, paso a paso, sin apuros innecesarios, aprendiendo a confiar en el proceso.
Siento que esta ciudad me acompaña, me contiene y me recuerda siempre que formar parte de algo más grande también es una forma de pertenecer. Desde este punto, sigo adelante, con paso sereno y mirada atenta, y agradecida por lo que sigo construyendo.
