This year’s Mother’s Day was filled with moments that will stay with me forever. Starting very early in the morning, I began receiving messages from the women in my life: sisters, nieces, friends—some are already mothers and others aren’t, but all of them, as daughters themselves, deeply understand what a mother’s love means. Each message contained kind words, memories, sincere affection, and that warmth that makes you start the day with a heart full of love.
My daughter also surprised me with a beautiful gift. She gave me several little things I needed, and honestly, they made me so happy because you can tell when a gift is chosen with love and care.
Afterward, we went to lunch at our favorite spot: Arte-Sano. And when I say favorite, I mean in every way. We love the atmosphere, the warm service, and, of course, the food that never disappoints. This time we sat on the glass-enclosed terrace surrounded by plants. The afternoon had spectacular light because it was a beautiful day.
El Día de la Madre este año estuvo lleno de momentos que se quedan guardados en el corazón. Desde muy temprano empecé a recibir mensajes de las mujeres de mi vida: hermanas, sobrinas, amigas, algunas ya son madres y otras no, pero todas, desde su lugar de hijas, entienden profundamente lo que significa el amor de una madre. Cada mensaje tenía palabras bonitas, recuerdos, cariño sincero y esa calidez que hace que uno empiece el día con el corazón apapachado.
Mi hija también me sorprendió con un obsequio hermoso. Me regaló varias cositas que necesitaba y que, sinceramente, me hicieron muchísima ilusión porque se nota cuando un regalo está pensado con amor y atención.
Después nos fuimos a almorzar a nuestro lugar favorito: Arte-Sano. Y cuando digo favorito, es por todo. Nos encanta el ambiente, la atención tan cálida y, por supuesto, la comida que nunca decepciona. Esta vez nos sentamos en la terraza cerrada con vidrios y rodeada de plantas. La tarde tenía una luz espectacular porque hizo un día precioso.
We took advantage of that lovely spot to have our little photo shoot while we waited for our food. Amid laughter and lots of posing, we ended up taking tons of cute photos that I know I’ll look back on with a smile. I love capturing those moments because, in the end, memories are what matter most.
And well, the food was divine. It was truly delicious. Every dish was spectacular, and I’ll tell you more about everything we ordered later because it deserves its own post. But beyond the food, the best part was sharing the moment. We chatted, laughed a lot, and enjoyed a simple celebration filled with love.
I felt so pampered, so loved, and deeply grateful. Sometimes you don’t need big things to feel happy; it’s enough just to be surrounded by the people you love. Today I’m infinitely grateful for the love my family gives me and the good fortune of continuing to make memories together.
Aprovechamos ese rincón tan bonito para hacer nuestra pequeña sesión de fotos del recuerdo, mientras esperábamos la comida. Entre risas y muchas poses, terminamos tomando muchísimas fotos lindas que sé que luego voy a mirar con una sonrisa. Me encanta guardar esos momentos porque al final son los recuerdos los que más valor tienen.
Y bueno, la comida estuvo divina. De verdad comí delicioso. Cada plato estaba espectacular y ya luego les hablaré mejor de todo lo que pedimos porque merece un post aparte. Pero más allá de la comida, lo más bonito fue compartir. Conversamos, nos reímos muchísimo y disfrutamos de una celebración sencilla pero llena de amor.
Me sentí muy consentida, muy querida y profundamente agradecida. A veces uno no necesita grandes cosas para sentirse feliz; basta con estar rodeada de las personas que ama. Hoy agradezco infinitamente el amor que mi familia me regala y la fortuna de seguir sumando recuerdos juntos.
