Hey internet people! How are you? Today I want to show you a lovely place I visited last week with my sister. We usually go out together to make the most of our one free day to do shopping and run errands, but it was a super hot morning, so I suggested to my sister that we go to an ice cream shop I already knew and that had blown my mind with the unique flavor of their ice cream 🤗. It's made with Greek yogurt; the ice cream is literally Greek yogurt, not the traditional vanilla, ice cream, or strawberry. The base is literally frozen yogurt, but you can add different toppings in many different flavors, and well, that's quite a novelty here, at least in this city, so I didn't think twice about suggesting to my sister that we go there.

Hoy les quiero mostrar un lugar precioso que visité la semana pasada con mi hermana, y es que normalmente salimos juntas para aprovechar el único día libre que tenemos para hacer las compras y diligencias, pero era una mañana super calurosa y entonces le propuse a mi hermana que fuésemos a una heladería que yo ya conocía y que me había hecho volar la cabeza por el sabor tan particular de sus helados 🤗 ya que se trata de yogurt griego, los helados literalmente son de yogurt griego, no los tradicionales de mantecado, vainilla o fresa, la base es literalmente yogurt helado, pero se puede acompañar con distintos Toppings de muchos sabores diferentes, y bueno eso es toda una novedad aquí, al menos en esta ciudad, así que no lo pensé dos veces para proponerle a mi hermana que fuésemos allá.
The ice cream shop has a beautiful and well-maintained aesthetic, inspired by the Greek island of Mykonos (hence the name). It's also said that yogurt originated in Greece, so it makes perfect sense that they serve yogurt ice cream 😜. Although the Turks also claim to have invented this dairy treat, that's not something I'm going to discuss here, right? I'll just say that we really enjoyed the peaceful atmosphere. Plus, there were very few people there since it was Carnival holiday and everyone was out of town.
La heladería tiene una estética super bonita y muy bien cuidada, está inspirada en la isla Mykonos de Grecia (de ahí el nombre de la heladería) además se dice que el yogurt viene de Grecia, así que tiene todo el sentido del mundo que sirvan helados de yogurt 😜, aunque los turcos también se adjudican la autoría de esta delicia láctea, pero no es algo que voy a discutir aquí, ¿verdad? tan solo les diré que nos gustó mucho el ambiente apacible del lugar, además había muy poca gente ya que se trataba del asueto de carnaval y todo el mundo estaba en las afueras de la ciudad
The first time I ate one of these ice creams, it blew my mind 😄. I didn't buy it myself; I sent one of my coworkers (at the time) to get one for me since I was going there. I thought they were just the traditional vanilla ice creams with different toppings, so when I took the first bite, I was surprised but loved the delicious combination of yogurt and the strawberry topping I chose. This time, I wanted to choose something different: you can order up to two different toppings and a syrup, so I chose brownie and peanut toppings, drizzled with a delicious dulce de leche syrup, and my sister ordered the same.
La primera vez que comí uno de estos helados me voló la cabeza 😄 y es que yo no lo compré personalmente, sino que mandé a uno de mis compañeros de trabajo (de ese entonces) que me comprara uno, ya que iba a ir allí, pero yo pensé que eran los tradicionales helados de vainilla con toppings de diferentes sabores, así que cuando tomé el primer bocado me sorprendí pero amé la combinación tan deliciosa que había entre el yogurt y el acompañamiento de fresa que elegí entonces. En esta ocasión yo quise elegir algo diferente: se pueden pedir hasta dos toppings diferentes y un sirope, así que y elegí topping de brownie y de maní, napados con un delicioso sirope de dulce de leche, y mi hermana pidió lo mismo.
Seriously, they were so delicious I couldn't stop eating it 😋. They were also perfect because it was a very hot morning, so they were ideal for cooling us down. But the best part was my sister's company, as we had the chance to catch up on gossip 😄, haha. We also took the opportunity to visit some old friends.
En serio, estaba tan ricos que yo no podía parar de comer 😋, además venían de maravilla porque aquella mañana fue muy calurosa así que estaban perfectos para refrescarnos, pero lo mejor de todo fue la compañía de mi hermana ya que tuvimos la oportunidad de ponernos al día con los chismes jaja 😄, además, también aprovechamos la oportunidad de visitar algunos viejos amigos.
I even loved the packaging because they have icons representing the island (I'd love to visit it someday 😆)

I absolutely loved the immersive atmosphere of the place because it has colonial windows with screens showing the sea, so it really feels like you're in an ice cream shop on the island of Mykonos, with the sea right outside 😊
Me super encantó la ambientación tan inmersiva del lugar porque tiene ventanales coloniales con pantallas que muestran el mar, así que de verdad parece que estás en una heladería de la isla Mykonos, con el mar allá afuera 😊
