Hola mis estimados amigos y lectores de Hive Blockchain. Hoy quiero compartir con ustedes una travesía artística que hice comenzando este nuevo mes de Marzo.
Se trata de un recorrido por el surrealismo de Piero Fornasetti, un artista y diseñador italiano.

Hello my dear friends and readers of Hive Blockchain. Today I want to share with you an artistic journey I made starting this new month of March.
It is a journey through the surrealism of Piero Fornasetti, an Italian artist and designer.

Sin embargo, antes de hablar del autor un poco y de la exposición en sí misma; es súper importante compartir cómo llegué acá con ustedes ☺️
En principio comentar la locura de cola que tuve que hacer para ver la exposición 😱
La verdad, no me esperé para nada tener que hacer más de 1 hora de cola por la afluencia de gente que tenía la sala. Evidentemente había de todo, tanto personas que iban por el arte propiamente como personas que iban más por faranduleo pero uno ya ha aprendido a vivir con eso en el mundo del arte.
However, before talking about the author a little bit and the exhibition itself; it's super important to share how I got here with you ☺️
First of all, let me tell you about the crazy queue I had to queue to see the exhibition 😱.
To be honest, I didn't expect to have to wait in line for more than 1 hour due to the influx of people in the hall. Obviously there was a bit of everything, both people who went there for the art itself and people who went there more for show but one has already learned to live with that in the art world.

Llegué a esta exposición debido a que me la recomendaron en su momento de expansión ya que formalmente tendría vida desde Noviembre hasta Febrero, así que aproveché por completo la expansión de tiempo para ir y ya que estoy recuperando en marzo mi fuerza vital de Hive Blogger y de mí mismo, me dispuse a ir a disfrutar esto desde el inicio de mes.
Tuvo vida en el Centro Cultural de Arte Moderno de la Antigua Torre BOD (así se llama aún en mi memoria 🤭 aunque sé que perfectamente ya ni existe ese banco)
En cuanto a ubicación, me parece una buena locación ya que invita a que las personas salgan un poco de la cotidianidad museística y conozcan otros espacios culturales de la ciudad. También para mí este lugar tiene un lugar bastante bonito en mis recuerdos ya que fue donde se realizó la primera Caracas Blockchain Week y fue el lugar donde conocí a varios Hivers, colegas y amigo que también trabajan y hacen vida en cripto.
I came to this exhibition because it was recommended to me at its time of expansion since it would formally have life from November to February, so I took full advantage of the expansion of time to go and since I am recovering in March my life force of Hive Blogger and myself, I set out to go to enjoy this from the beginning of the month.
It was held at the Centro Cultural de Arte Moderno de la Antigua Torre BOD (that's what it's still called in my memory 🤭 although I know that bank doesn't even exist anymore).
In terms of location, I think it is a good location because it invites people to leave the everyday museum life and get to know other cultural spaces in the city. Also for me this place has a very nice place in my memories as it was where the first Caracas Blockchain Week was held and it was the place where I met several Hivers, colleagues and friends who also work and make life in crypto.
Como les comenté, tuve que hacer una cola un poco larga para el ingreso, esto debido a que solo entraban grupos de 60 personas a la exposición. Imaginen la afluencia de gente 😳
As I told you, I had to wait in a long queue to get in, because only groups of 60 people could enter the exhibition. Imagine the influx of people 😳

Al entrar, lo primero que te recibe es el poster de Fornasetti saliendo por una mirilla de una cerradura que se convirtió en un elemento clásico de la exposición. Lo cual tiene bastante sentido ya que el surrealismo es una puerta de entrada a otras formas de percibir la realidad y en esta visión en particular, el artista busca llenar de nuevos significados cualquier ámbito de lo que se conoce como un espacio normal.
Upon entering, the first thing that greets you is the poster of Fornasetti emerging through a peephole of a keyhole that became a classic element of the exhibition. Which makes quite sense since surrealism is a gateway to other ways of perceiving reality and in this particular vision, the artist seeks to fill any realm of what is known as a normal space with new meanings.
Piero desarrolló en su técnica la capacidad de ver una posible obra de arte en casi todo. Dejando para la posteridad a su eterna musa Lina Cavalieri.
En esta exposición, vemos alfombras, bandejas, platos, sillas, mesas, sombrillas y demás elementos intervenidos minuciosamente por su mentalidad.
Piero developed in his technique the ability to see a possible work of art in almost everything. Leaving for posterity his eternal muse Lina Cavalieri.
In this exhibition, we see carpets, trays, plates, chairs, tables, umbrellas and other elements meticulously intervened by his mentality.
De mis obras favoritas, estas telas en forma de cuadro, que me costó capturar en soledad ya que había muchísima gente en serio; y también las bandejas. Ambas intervenciones me hizo recordar mucho a mi abuela materna ya que ella hacía grabado sobre cerámica y el arte de las telas.
Estoy muy seguro que mi abuela se hubiese maravillado con la platería y los juegos de cubiertos y los hubiese comprado para usarlos en una ocasión especial 🤭
My favorite works are these canvases in the form of a painting, which I had a hard time capturing in solitude since there were so many people; and also the trays. Both interventions reminded me a lot of my maternal grandmother as she did printmaking on ceramics and fabric art.
I'm pretty sure my grandmother would have marveled at the silverware and flatware sets and would have bought them to use for a special occasion 🤭
Las sombrillas y en especial las alfombras fueron de los elementos que también me cautivaron muchísimo.
Sin duda alguna, esta exposición me recordó que todo diseño puede ser arte pero que no todo arte es diseño. Esa característica esencial de la utilidad más allá de la belleza propia del diseño me parece además sumamente único e inigualable.
The umbrellas and especially the carpets were among the elements that also captivated me very much.
Without a doubt, this exhibition reminded me that all design can be art but not all art is design. That essential characteristic of utility beyond the beauty of design itself also seems to me extremely unique and incomparable.
Aunque el gran amor de la exposición de arte lo tuve con unos platos de la entrada (literalmente) me enamoraron a primera vista. Imaginar como en cada plato hay un poco del artista y de un simple humano que vivió su vida me llenó de paz.
De la misma manera, la forma de ejecución de su arte donde la estética supera la utilidad.
Although the great love of the art exhibition I had with some dishes at the entrance (literally) I fell in love at first sight. Imagining how in each plate there is a bit of the artist and a simple human who lived his life filled me with peace.
In the same way, the way of execution of his art where aesthetics overcomes utility.
