It turns out that today I had to go pick up the Christmas stuff, and although it made me very sad, I took advantage of the opportunity to make my requests to God and to give thanks for everything I have achieved. In my requests I emphasized asking for health and to get our own roof to continue moving forward with my husband, and the peace that comes from having somewhere to be, I imagine, must be wonderful and satisfying, without having to wake up counting the days you have left to vacate somewhere. Honestly, we are living it and it is horrible at its worst.
