I’ve gone back to the place I dreaded so much: the eye doctor. Basically, it had been a year since I accidentally broke my old glasses, and I put off the appointment to get them repaired for so long that I ended up getting used to not wearing them. It was really just my excuse for not wearing them again, but now I’m paying the price.
I’ve been dealing with migraines for months; I went to the doctor, and obviously that’s what it is—plus, my job involves sitting in front of a computer all day, which is mentally and visually exhausting. Yesterday I went to pick out a frame to get back into wearing glasses and had my eyes checked since I had no idea if my vision had gotten worse—fortunately, it hadn’t. It was all just eye strain, so I took the opportunity to add a blue light filter. I have to wait about 15 days to get them.
