Y algo que me hizo muy feliz de este viaje es que encontr茅 varios cursos y entre ellos uno de decoraci贸n en Chantilly y es que la mayor铆a de mi trabajo es en merengue italiano o crema de mantequilla, pacas son las tortas que he decorado en Chantilly y tuve la oportunidad de realizar este taller gracias a mi prima y fui muy feliz. C贸mo coloque en un post en Instagram me ha tocado renacer de las cenizas y en medio de todo est茅 dolor que estoy sufriendo quiero mejorar, estudiar y buscar un rumbo a mi vida.
And something that made me really happy about this trip is that I found several courses, including one on Chantilly cream decorating. Most of my work is with Italian meringue or buttercream, and I've decorated countless cakes with Chantilly cream. I had the opportunity to take this workshop thanks to my cousin, and I was so happy. I took tons of photos and videos throughout the entire class, which lasted about five hours. When we arrived, the chef explained how she makes cakes and then went on to talk about why she loves working with Chantilly cream. She gave us some of the best Chantilly cream brands on the market and all the tricks she uses to make a stable and delicious Chantilly cream.
No solo nos hablo de la Chantilly sino que tambi茅n nos di贸 muchos tips para armar las tortas y que queden parejas y firmes. Otra cosa de la cual hablo y dijo que era muy importante era tener una bailarina de metal, espero pronto reunir y comprarme una bailarina de metal ya que la m铆a es de pl谩stico y ya tiene muchos a帽os que la compre. C贸mo pueden ver aqu铆 ella arm贸 una torta de dos pisos realmente hermosa.
She not only talked to us about Chantilly cream but also gave us many tips for assembling cakes so they would be even and sturdy. Another thing she mentioned, which she said was very important, was having a metal ballerina. I hope to save up and buy a metal ballerina soon, since mine is plastic and I bought it many years ago. As you can see here, she made a truly beautiful two-tiered cake.
Luego de toda la explicaci贸n y m茅todos que nos ense帽aron nos toc贸 armar nuestra propia torta para luego poder decorarla. Y aunque yo tengo muchos a帽os trabajando con tortas me sent铆 un poco nerviosa. Pero poco a poco fui haciendo todo lo que nos explicaron y la torta qued贸 bastante bien.
After all the explanations and methods they taught us, it was our turn to assemble our own cake and then decorate it. Even though I've been working with cakes for many years, I felt a little nervous. But little by little, I did everything they explained, and the cake turned out quite well.
La chica que me estaba ayudando a tomar fotos, olvid贸 tomar fotos mientras decoraba est谩 torta con el Chantilly que debo decir que me pareci贸 bastante dif铆cil. Pero que cuando est茅 en casa buscar茅 practicar un poco para poner en pr谩ctica lo aprendido.
The girl who was helping me take photos forgot to take pictures while I was decorating this cake with Chantilly cream, which I must say I found quite difficult. But when I get home, I'll try to practice a bit to put what I learned into practice.
Luego de terminar me tom茅 una foto con la torta que decore, pero olvide completamente de tomar una foto a la torta sola ya lista. Luego fuimos todas colocando las tortas en la mesa y nos tomamos una fotos con los profesores. Tambi茅n conoc铆 a un chico que trabaja con merengue italiano y es uno de los mejores que conozco.
After I finished, I took a picture with the cake I decorated, but I completely forgot to take a picture of the finished cake on its own. Then we all put the cakes on the table and took pictures with the teachers. I also met a guy who works with Italian meringue, and he's one of the best I know.
