After spending a couple of days in shorts, the misty, cool weather returned in typical British style. The weather is teasing us at the moment. The further I drove for my morning walk, the mistier it became.
In the wood, it wasn't too bad but it still had a spooky feel to it.
I decided to walk on a different footpath through the wood instead of walking around the perimeter. Unfortunately, once in the wood the footpath disappeared and it became too tricky underfoot. I had to double back to the main footpath. The number of times this has happened to me!
A little bit of colour, the wild redcurrant plant. It's often seen growing on the side of the road.
It was becoming a little brighter. There is a road that runs alongside the wood. I think people must throw their litter out of their car windows as they drive past, so I did a litter pick on the way back to my car.
It was mostly cans and bottles surprise, surprise. What happened to leave no trace??
