Blood is extremely important, obviously. Lack of blood is deadly, obviously again. What is not so obvious, at least not daily in our thoughts, is that each of us can help in a small way. Donate blood, save lives, literally.
Loosely translated from Slovenian:
I donate blood, you donate it too!
A couple of weeks ago, it was my 25th blood donation. A small jubilee.
I got green sticky tape around the spot where they spilled my blood, fancy.
You can see that we get well fed after the donation itself. It's a way to say "Thank you!" , and it is very appreciated.
The rule, for males, is that you can donate blood every three months. So my next donation could be in September. I will probably move it to October, after several running events. For sure, I will donate blood again!
