Definitivamente necesitaba unos días de desconexión para poder conectar de nuevo con mis metas y propósitos.
A pesar de que me sentía mucho más tranquila en comparación de semanas antes donde me sentía algo agobiaba, al principio de la semana me mantuve activa con el trabajo.
Tenia unos encargos que debía terminar antes de llegar al día viernes y me tocó pintar y pintar. Fueron varias jornadas de pintura que a pesar de que eran trabajo, disfruté mucho hacer. Ya lueguito les muestro como me quedaron esas obras y más a profundidad su historia.

I definitely needed a few days to disconnect so I could reconnect with my goals and objectives.
Even though I felt much calmer compared to the previous weeks when I felt somewhat overwhelmed, I stayed busy with work at the beginning of the week.
I had some projects I had to finish before Friday, and I spent a lot of time painting. It was several days of painting, and even though it was work, I really enjoyed it. I'll show you how the pieces turned out and tell you more about their stories soon.
El día martes por la noche terminé con ese último proyecto que eran 4 cuadros para un consultorio odontológico y por fin podía decir "soy libre". He querido dedicarme a proyectos personales pero por estar saliendo de encargos no había podido tomarlos.
Ese día me invitó una prima a visitarlos al día siguiente porque iban a hacer una sopa y al principio pensaba que no podría asistir porque no contaba con el dinero para los pasajes.
On Tuesday night, I finished my last project, which was four paintings for a dental office, and I could finally say, "I'm free." I'd wanted to dedicate myself to personal projects, but because I was constantly finishing commissions, I hadn't been able to.
That day, a cousin invited me to visit them the next day because they were going to make soup, and at first, I thought I wouldn't be able to go because I didn't have the money for the bus fare.
Pero mi hermano me ayudó con esto y mi hijo y yo pudimos visitarlos y pasar una tarde diferente disfrutando de esa rica sopa que hizo mi tía.
Semana santa estuvo cargada de retos porque lamentablemente muchas personas me quedaron mal con los pago y pues, nos tocó sobrevivir con poco.
Por suerte teníamos unos ahorros, que no eran para utilizar de esa forma, pero por suerte con ellos pudimos solventar el tema de la comida durante esos días.
But my brother helped me with this, and my son and I were able to visit them and spend a different kind of afternoon enjoying that delicious soup my aunt made.
Holy Week was full of challenges because, unfortunately, many people didn't pay me, and we had to make do with very little.
Luckily, we had some savings, which weren't meant to be used for that purpose, but luckily, we were able to cover our food expenses during those days.
En cuanto al tema eléctrico, estuvimos bien durante esos días porque no se nos fue la luz en ninguno de esos días de celebración. Y menos mal porque el calor acá en el Zulia ha estado insoportable y no sabíamos cómo podríamos sobrevivir sin nuestro aire acondicionado.
Pero lamentablemente el encantó duró poco y ayer por la noche se nos comenzó a ir nuevamente la electricidad a diario. Volvemos a la realidad.
As for the electricity, we were fine during those days because we didn't lose power at all during the celebrations. And thank goodness, because the heat here in Zulia has been unbearable, and we didn't know how we would survive without our air conditioning.
But unfortunately, the magic didn't last long, and last night the electricity started going out again every day. Back to reality.
Fueron días buenos, en los que pude salir de varios pendientes sin preocuparme por tener que dar clases al mismo tiempo, pude organizarme y planificar los siguientes pasos.
Justo terminando la semana me hicieron una propuesta laboral y hoy fui a ver el espacio donde hoy a trabajar. Lo chistoso es que me tocó ir en moto y yo solo me había montado en la que tenía mi papá hace muchísimos años, y recorrimos tramos muy cortos.
Fue toda una experiencia 😂 y aunque me sentí bastante nerviosa porque tocó recorrer una autopista, llegué sana y salva y pude hacer el trabajo.
Ya luego les contaré un poco más de esto y del montón de cosas que tengo acumuladas que hemos hecho y que no he podido contarles aún. Gracias por siempre acompañarme en mis locuras.
It was a good few days, when I was able to get several things done without worrying about having to teach classes at the same time. I was able to get organized and plan my next steps.
Right at the end of the week, I received a job offer, and today I went to see the space where I'll be working. The funny thing is, I had to go by motorcycle, and I'd only ever ridden my dad's bike for ages, and we only traveled very short distances.
It was quite an experience 😂 and although I was pretty nervous because we had to ride on a highway, I arrived safe and sound and was able to do the job.
