¡Hola Chicos!
En febrero mi hijo y yo estuvimos haciendo unas compras especiales para unos talleres que íbamos a desarrollar en nuestro local y por cuestiones de trabajo no había tenido oportunidad de hablarles al respecto.
Hoy vengo a contarles que estuvimos haciendo durante ese día y cómo terminamos nuestra jornada bastante agitada.
Todo comenzó porque yo iba a hacer junto a una chica llamada Tefy un cumpleaños creativo y necesitaba comprar la base de los lienzos que iban a pintar los niños de este cumpleaños.
Faltaba una semana para este cumpleaños y yo pensaba que no se iba a dar pero justo ese día en la mañana recibí el pago e inmediatamente me organicé con mi hijo para ir a comprar todo lo necesario para eso y para los otros talleres aprovechando de que tenía dinero en la cuenta.
Así que nos arreglemos y salimos desde bien tempranito para que nos rindiera el día.

In February, my son and I were doing some special shopping for workshops we were going to hold at our shop, and because of work, I hadn't had a chance to tell you about it.
Today I'm going to tell you what we did that day and how we ended up having a rather hectic day.
It all started because I was going to host a creative birthday party with a girl named Tefy, and I needed to buy the base for the canvases the children would be painting.
There was a week left until the party, and I thought it wasn't going to happen, but that very morning I received my payment, and I immediately got organized with my son to go buy everything we needed for that and the other workshops, taking advantage of the fact that I had money in my account.
So we got ready and left very early to make the most of the day.
La primera parada fue la carpintería donde íbamos a comprar las maderas para los lienzos. Apenas llegamos, consultamos si tenían la tabla que necesitaba y al confirmar, pagué y esperamos unos pocos minutos hasta que los señores que trabajaban en la tienda hicieron todos los cortes.
La verdad salimos más rápido de lo que esperábamos de ahí porque para nuestra suerte no habían más personas a la espera y pudieron atendernos de forma inmediata.
Our first stop was the carpentry shop where we were going to buy the wood for the canvases. As soon as we arrived, we asked if they had the board I needed, and once they confirmed it, I paid and we waited a few minutes until the men who worked at the shop made all the cuts.
Actually, we left there faster than we expected because, luckily, there weren't any other people waiting and they were able to serve us immediately.
Apenas habíamos desayunado en casa antes de salir y nos comenzó a dar hambre pue ya era medio día, así que comenzamos a pensar dónde sería el mejor lugar para almorzar.
Luego de mucho debatir, decidimos comprar arroz chino porque era la opción más económica, así que pedimos un delivery y estuvimos esperando en el centro comercial la fuente. No había electricidad y no servía de nada que no fuéramos a pasar calor dentro de nuestro local, por lo que comimos en una placita.
We had barely eaten breakfast at home before leaving and started getting hungry since it was already midday, so we began thinking about where the best place to have lunch would be.
After much debate, we decided to get Chinese rice because it was the cheapest option, so we ordered delivery and waited at the La Fuente shopping center. There was no electricity and it wouldn't do to avoid the heat inside our restaurant, so we ate in a small plaza.
Dejamos las maderas en el local después de comer y nos fuimos a varias tiendas a comprar unas pinturas y unas cosas que nos hacían falta.
Lo lamentable de esto es que en una de nuestras visitas, dejé cuidando a mi hijo una bolsa con las compras y la dejó olvidada.
Intenté recuperarla pero en las tiendas no supieron darme razón de mis compras, así que tocó comprar todo de nuevo. Por suerte no era mucho lo que se perdió y espero que quienes se lo consiguieron y se lo llevaron, necesitaran de esto y le dieran buen uso.
We left the wood at the shop after lunch and went to several stores to buy some paint and other things we needed.
The unfortunate thing is that on one of our visits, I left a bag of our purchases in my son's care, and he forgot it.
I tried to get it back, but the stores couldn't tell me what I'd bought, so I had to buy everything again. Luckily, not much was lost, and I hope whoever found it and took it needed it and put it to good use.
Ya luego nos fuimos al local de nuevo a buscar todas las cosas y esperamos a que nuestro transporte llegara.
Fue un día súper movido y cansado pero logramos hacer todo. Sin el apoyo de mi hijo no hubiera sido igual. 💜
Then we went back to the store to get everything and waited for our transport to arrive.
It was a super busy and tiring day, but we managed to get everything done. It wouldn't have been the same without my son's support. 💜
