Disfrutando en la granja de la abuela [ESP/ENG]

Hola a todos! finalmente este fin de semana hizo calor en Polonia, el clima perfecto para ir a visitar a la abuela de mi esposo Pawel, así que fuímos allí hoy muy temprano y les cuento que la pasamos increíble. En esta oportunidad la abuela nos recibió en la nueva mesa que puso en el jardín, donde compartimos un delicioso café y algunos snacks que nos sirvió la esposa del tío de Pawel.

Nos sorprendió mucho que este año el jardín estaba mucho más bonito con nuevas plantas y más limpio, allí Olivia corrió mucho y jugó con los animales puesto que la abuela tiene 3 perros y muchas gallinas, además de patos y guineos, entonces ella jugaba lanzandole la pelota a los perritos pero también estaba emocionada con las gallinas.

Entre conversaciones, bebidas, y paseando por el jardín de la abuela se nos pasó el día, pero para terminar les cuento que allí también aprovechamos de visitar el otro tío de mi esposo donde conocimos a la nueva integrante de la familia (la hija de la prima de Pawel, la que no se si recuerdan pero fuímos a su boda), olvidé hacer fotos allí ya que tenía un poco de pena, pero nos ofrecieron un rico caldo de pollo y también algunas bebidas, además de que conversamos un rato, y ellos vieron lo grande que estaba Olivia y dijeron que se parece mucho a mí (lo cual creo que tienen razón jajaja) entonces en resumen fué un excelente día y esperamos volver pronto ya que nos encantó que Olivia disfrutó mucho con la naturaleza y los animales y nosotros pasamos un día diferente y en familia.

Hi everyone! It was finally warm in Poland this weekend—the perfect weather to visit my husband Pawel’s grandmother—so we went there very early today, and I have to tell you, we had an amazing time. This time, Grandma welcomed us at the new table she set up in the garden, where we shared a delicious cup of coffee and some snacks that Pawel’s uncle’s wife served us.

We were really surprised that this year the garden was much prettier with new plants and cleaner. Olivia ran around a lot and played with the animals—Grandma has three dogs and lots of chickens, plus ducks and guinea fowl—so she played by throwing the ball to the dogs but was also excited about the chickens.

Between conversations, drinks, and strolling through Grandma’s garden, the day just flew by, but to wrap things up, I’ll tell you that while we were there we also took the opportunity to visit my husband’s other uncle, where we met the newest member of the family (the daughter of Pawel’s cousin—I don’t know if you remember her, but we went to her wedding). I forgot to take pictures there because I felt a little awkward, but they offered us some delicious chicken soup and some drinks, and we chatted for a while. They noticed how big Olivia had gotten and said she looks a lot like me (which I think they’re right about, hahaha). So, in short, it was an excellent day, and we hope to return soon since we loved that Olivia had such a great time with nature and the animals, and we got to spend a different kind of day together as a family.
