Damage caused by the passage of a tropical wave

Un saludo mi querida comunidad , el día jueves mu ciudad sufrió estragos con el pago de la onda tropical número 6, dejando muchos daños en especial lo que más pude observar fue la caida de muchos árboles y levantamiento de techo de algunas vivienda.

Greetings my dear community, on Thursday our city was devastated by the tropical wave number 6, leaving many damages, especially what I could observe was the fall of many trees and the lifting of the roofs of some houses.

Aunque está onda tropical ya estaba anunciaba, no pensé que era tan fuerte, me asusté bastante por el ruido que producía el viento y lo torrencial de la lluvia, desde la casa podía escuchar sonar los techos de otras casas, además podía ver a mucha gente sacando agua de sus casas, fue una tormenta con muchas descargas eléctricas, que gracias a Dios no tardo mucho tiempo.

Although this tropical wave was already announced, I did not think it was so strong, I was quite scared by the noise produced by the wind and the torrential rain, from the house I could hear the sound of the roofs of other houses, I could also see many people taking water from their homes, it was a storm with many electrical discharges, which thank God did not take long.

Al.principio no sabía nada de lo que había pasado en la ciudad, porque quedamos sin servicio de energía electrica. Cuando paso todo y se restableció la electricidad fue que ví lo grave de la situación, incluso muy cerca de mi casa también se cayó un árbol, gracias a Dios no causó ningún daño. Mi mayor sorpresa fue cuando llegue hoy al colegio a trabajar y encontré que también se había caido un árbol de pomalaca o manzana de agua y me dió mucho tristeza porque se perdió su cosecha. Incluso muchos compañeros de trabajo que utilizan transporte público se tuvieron que quedar en el colegio porque no les dio tiempo salir y la tormenta llego antes de que se retiraran.

At first I did not know anything about what had happened in the city, because we were without electricity. When everything happened and electricity was restored I saw how serious the situation was, even very close to my house a tree also fell, thank God it did not cause any damage. My biggest surprise was when I arrived at school today to work and found that a pomalaca or water apple tree had also fallen and it made me very sad because they lost their harvest. Even many co-workers who use public transportation had to stay at school because they did not have time to leave and the storm arrived before they left.

Sin embargo hoy se espera la onda tropical número 7 en horas de la noche, estoy muy pendiente además tome las medidas porque se que lo primero que suspenden es el servicio de energía electrica y ya tengo todas las lámparas de emergencia bien cargadas. Creo que días atrás les comenté que había comprado un producto muy bueno para tapar las goteras del techo y me alegra que con esto pude evitar este trabajo tan fuerte de estar sacando agua de la casa por las filtraciones.

However, today tropical wave number 7 is expected in the evening hours, I am very attentive and I am taking measures because I know that the first thing they suspend is the electricity service and I already have all the emergency lamps well charged. I believe that days ago I told you that I had bought a very good product to plug the leaks in the roof and I am glad that with this I was able to avoid this hard work of removing water from the house because of the leaks.
