One of my little pleasures in life is going to my local RPC store for those items I didn't know I needed, but once I'm there, I see them all and want them, because I ask myself, "How did I ever live without them?" 🤣.
¿Para compras? Yo. ¿Para compras indispensables? Yo. ¿Para compras indispensables con Cashea? YOOOOOO 😊 Es que para mí uno de los pequeños placeres que puedo tener en la vida es cuando voy a mi tienda RPC por esos artículos que no sabía que necesitaba, pero una vez allí, los veo todos y los quiero, ya que me pregunto: "¿cómo pude vivir sin ellos?" 🤣.
The other day I was running errands in Puerto la Cruz and, as always, fate led me right in front of that store, so I went in for a few items I'd already marked on my Instagram cart. Plus, since they have a credit system, I can bring home the equivalent of about $25 with just a little money. I'll figure out how to pay the rest later, because if there's one thing I am, it's a responsible, albeit indebted, adult 😆.
En días pasados estaba haciendo unas diligencias por Puerto la Cruz y, como siempre, el destino me llevó justo al frente de esa tienda, así que entré por algunos artículos que ya tenía marcados en mi carrito de Instagram. Además, como tienen sistema de compras a crédito, con poco dinero me puedo traer a casa el equivalente a unos $25. Después veo cómo pago el resto, porque si algo tengo es ser una adulta endeudada, pero responsable 😆.
As I mentioned, I have my list of the items the store sells on my phone. I ask the guys about them, and they answer; however, I'm often drawn to what's displayed in the windows, which sometimes aren't advertised and are real treasures.
Como les dije, tengo mi lista de artículos que vende la tienda en mi teléfono. Les voy preguntando a los chicos y ellos me van contestando; sin embargo, me dejo llevar por lo exhibido en las vitrinas, que a veces no le hacen publicidad y son unos verdaderos tesoros.
This time I bought:
A phone stand: I have one for my PC and sometimes I use it for my phone; since I sometimes use both, I needed one for my phone.
It's really good, except my phone is very heavy and it doesn't hold much weight. Also, it seems a bit flimsy and I feel like it's going to fall and break the screen; so, I'm using it to hold necklaces and bracelets 🤣. Although my friends say it's great and I'm happy with the purchase, even though I'm using it for other things.
En esta oportunidad compré: Una base para sostener el celular: yo tengo una para la PC y a veces la uso para el celular; como en ocasiones uso las dos, entonces necesitaba una del cel. Es muy buena, solo que mi celular es muy pesado y no soporta mucho el peso. Además, la veo como insegura y siento que se va a caer y romper la pantalla; entonces, la estoy usando para poner collares y pulseras 🤣. Aunque mis amigas dicen que está genial y yo me siento feliz por la compra, así la esté usando para otros fines.
What I like about the store is that they sell lots of kitchen items that make life easier; I bought some vegetable knives. These knives are trendy because they don't rust the metal blades or vegetables like cabbage. They weren't on the website, but when I saw them, I decided to order some since I hadn't seen them in any other store. The great thing is that they come in a set of six knives of different sizes. I'll look up what each one is for.
I bought another item for my son, J.J.; he loves to cook, but he doesn't like kneading or mixing with his hands. So, a spatula that makes his job easier is the perfect gift so he can keep cooking without getting his hands dirty 😊.
Lo que me gusta de la tienda es que venden muchos artículos de cocina que facilitan la vida; yo compré unos cuchillos para cortar verduras. Estos cuchillos están de moda porque no oxidan las hojas de metal ni las verduras o vegetales como el repollo. No estaban en la página, pero cuando los vi me decidí a pedir unos, ya que no los había visto en otra tienda. Lo bueno es que traen 6 cuchillos de diferentes tamaños. Ya buscaré para qué sirve cada uno. Otro artículo lo compré para mi J.J.; a él le fascina cocinar, pero no le gusta amasar o mezclar con las manos. Por eso, una paleta que facilita su trabajo es el regalo ideal para que siga cocinando ahora sin ensuciarse 😊.
We recently went on a trip, and the soap was always in a bag. Imagine constantly changing the packaging, getting your hands dirty, and constantly getting soap everywhere! For this problem, I bought the best solution: a very pretty and practical soap dish. I hope to use it soon.
Hace poco nosotros fuimos de viaje y el jabón siempre estuvo en una bolsa. Imaginen la escena de cambiar a cada rato el empaque, ensuciarse las manos y siempre estar mojando todos lados. Para este problema compré la mejor solución: una jabonera muy linda y práctica. Espero usarla pronto.
Another product we all need is an umbrella. Mine was in terrible shape, with exposed ribs that posed a risk every time I opened it. I think that was my initial reason for going to the store because I threw the old one away right there and left showing off my new purchase. So far, it's been fantastic 💯.
Otro producto que nos hace falta en todos lados es una sombrilla. La mía estaba en situaciones críticas con varillas expuestas que eran un riesgo cada vez que lo abría. Creo que esa fue mi intención inicial de ir a la tienda porque allí mismo boté la vieja y salí luciendo mi nueva adquisición. Hasta el momento se ha portado de maravilla 💯.
Finally, I bought a duster which helped me at first, and since I have some work to do around the house, I'm keeping it there to help with cleaning. I also bought some lights for the cabinets, which I'll show in the relevant communities 😉.
Por último, compré un plumero que me ayudó al principio y, como tengo que hacer unos trabajos en mi casa, lo tengo allí para ayudarme en la limpieza. Por otro lado, compré unas luces para los gabinetes que mostraré en las comunidades correspondientes 😉.
What did I miss?
Well, this time my list ended up being long because the display cases had so many things I liked: There's an overhead projector, glasses, wall clocks, refrigerators, soap dishes, pencils... EVERYTHING! So I hope to go back soon for those items.
What I want and long for most are the microphones, since they look so nice, they have speakers, they come with a charger, and they cost less than $10! I need four of those! 😎.
Anyway, I was very happy during the hour I spent in the store; the staff is very friendly, I managed to buy what I wanted, and my items were so popular that I recommended them to other people.

¿Qué me faltó? Miren, en esta oportunidad la lista me quedó larga, porque las vitrinas tenían muchas cositas que me gustaron: Hay retroproyector, vasos, relojes de pared, heladeras, jaboneras, lápices... ¡DE TODO! Así que espero ir pronto por esos artículos. Lo que más quiero y anhelo son los micrófonos, ya que se ven muy lindos, traen cornetas, vienen con cargador y cuestan menos de $10 ¡Necesito 4 de esos! 😎. Total, que esa hora que pasé en la tienda fui muy feliz; el personal es muy amable, logré comprar lo que quería y mis artículos gustaron tanto que se los recomendé a otras personas.
