Hoy quiero contarles una experiencia que recargo mi corazón y mi alma, en donde serví de instrumento y ayuda para regalar algo invaluable: ¡sonrisas!
Today I want to tell you about an experience that recharged my heart and soul, where I served as an instrument and help to give something invaluable: smiles!
Soñar despierto es un macro evento que se realiza con la finalidad de regalar una experiencia diferente a muchos niños, donde pueden jugar, dibujar, divertirse, cantar, bailar y nosotros como colaboradores volvemos a sentirnos niños una vez más.
Este día comenzó desde muy temprano, fue un sábado donde todos los colaboradores teníamos que estar a las 6 a.m preparados para recibir a todos los niños. A cada auxiliar le tocaba una tarea distinta, para mi suerte me tocó ser guía. Algo que verdaderamente me gustó porque pude hablar e interactuar con los niños con mucha cercanía, sin embargo ser guía es una responsabilidad total, pero, la asumí con mucha alegría y disposición.
Daydreaming is a macro event that takes place with the purpose of giving a different experience to children, where they can play, draw, have fun, sing, dance and we as collaborators feel like children once again.
This day started very early, it was a Saturday where all the collaborators had to be ready at 6 a.m. to receive all the children. Each auxiliary had a different task, for my luck it was my turn to be a guide. Something that I really liked because I was able to talk and interact with the children very closely, however, being a guide is a total responsibility, but I assumed it with great joy and willingness.
Fue un día lleno de muchas actividades y emociones, volver a conectar con tu niño interior es algo que refresca tu alma y tu forma de ver el mundo. Vuelves a amar la simpleza de la vida, a ignorar la seriedad, jugar como si no hubiera un mañana, reír con verdadera alegría, y sobre todo a agradecer por algo tan grande pero que le damos poca importancia, volver a despertar un día más (y como decían todos ellos, este es un día para jugar mucho más).
Conectar con niños, te enseña tantas cosas que muchas veces olvidamos. Lo importante y la enseñanza que me deja este increíble día es una frase de nuestra Madre Teresa de Calcula: “El que no vive para servir, no sirve para vivir”, sin embargo, siento que quede en deuda con todos esos nuevos amiguitos.
Yo les regale una sonrisa, ellos recargaron mi vida y esa es la magia de soñar despierto.
It was a day full of many activities and emotions, reconnecting with your inner child is something that refreshes your soul and your way of seeing the world. You come back to love the simplicity of life, to ignore the seriousness, to play as if there was no tomorrow, to laugh with true joy, and above all to be grateful for something so great but that we give little importance to, to wake up one more day (and as they all said, this is a day to play much more).
Connecting with children teaches you so many things that we often forget. The important thing and the teaching that leaves me this incredible day is a phrase of our Mother Teresa of Calcula: "He who does not live to serve, does not serve to live", however, I feel that I am indebted to all these new friends.
I gave them a smile, they recharged my life and that is the magic of daydreaming.
