My son had the day off from work, so we decided to go shopping. We went to a shopping center where they sell lots of different items.
He's interested in things related to Stitcsh, Sonic, Mario Bros., and other characters. I accompany him while he looks around and take advantage of the opportunity to take photos.
I like to photograph stuffed animals, even though I don't buy them. I think they are very cute, and these are some photos of the ones I liked.
I also like rugs. I saw one that I thought would be great for the kitchen, but I prefer to buy some for the front door of my house and my medical office. I didn't find one I liked, so I will keep looking next week when my son is off work.
There are three floors of items to look at. We took the escalators to all the floors.
I had to ask my son what this bottle display was for, and he told me it's a kind of glue that's often used for crafts and making shapes. Over time, it deteriorates from so much use, and then you have to buy more. I didn't buy it. I think it's too sticky for my taste.
In the gardening department, I found this very original flower pot. I decided on a plastic spray bottle. I bought it, but didn't take any photos. I'm using it to remove pests from my plants.
When we left the premises, we went to have breakfast. It was 11 a.m. We ate some delicious pastries and stuffed breads, accompanied by lemon Nestea.
When I got home, I used my spray bottle to prepare a homemade pesticide mixture. I made a mixture with dish soap, baking soda, and vinegar. I washed the undersides of the leaves of my eggplant plants.
The next day, I noticed fewer pests on my plants, but the ants are still bringing them. It is these little ants that bring the pests.
Two days later, we used my homemade pest spray again, and it is working. There are fewer and fewer pests, but there are still ants on the eggplant plants.
I went to check on a germinator I made by placing zamioculca leaves in water, and here is the result. They have taken root.
Even though the leaf looks dry, it is rooting. Soon I will buy new pots to transplant them, and I will make a new post.
Next week I'll go out again with my son and buy some pots if I can.
For now, those are my updates for the week. Although there have been other changes in my garden that I'll post about later.
