Hello My Dear Hivers, greetings from the Philippines, It's a feel good Monday, I know the majority of you won't agree, but sometimes we have to trick our mind to see the good things, do you know that muscle memory is faster than brain memory? and so whenever I'm procrastinating, I shock my body by moving, even before thinking, don't worry, your mind will always catch up.
Today I want to share with you another wellness tip, as much as possible we want to make sure to only take organics, such as vitamins and supplements from the food that we eat, but getting older, we have to admit that our absorption is getting slow, and because majority of food nowadays are no longer fresh, compared to the freshly picked fruits and vegetables from our garden, but what if we don't have it readily accessible?
A combination of healthy food and supplements are still the lifeline of our body, and because I noticed that I am vitamin deficient, I made a research about my condition (improvising is not acceptable, if you have time, you may visit a doctor or a physician so they can prescribe the needed supplements) earlier this year I noticed that no matter how much i exercise and do yoga, my lower back would ache, most especially during the weekend where the work hours are usually long, through the symptoms, I found out that I am lacking magnesium and not really calcium, because I never skip drinking milk at night, and you should, too, NEVER. I know some of us don't like the taste of it, but it's very I.M.P.O.R.T.A.N.T to continuously drink milk, and add some magnesium glycinate to activate it, it also regulates your sleep, and is responsible for our overall heart health.
Next is the Probiotics, ladies, listen up, get in here, we are prone to infections, especially if we are using public bathrooms and can't do anything about it as we have to sit down in that horrible toilet and release, and believe me, no matter how clean it may look, tiny creatures are creeping in, and so we have to protect our body from that, especially our gut, so regular probiotics intake is also necessary, this is also useful for some who has food allergies, people who like eating street foods, the urge is very strong, I know, Filipino street food is life, but we also have to protect our gut from all the harmful creatures lurking in that yummy treats.
and lastly, fish oil, eating fish is not really enough, and sometimes, fresh seafood is not always accessible, especially in my area, we are far from the city, fish oil also promotes heart, bone and skin health.
There you go, remember to make yourself a priority, I really believe that we have to be in our best, in order for us to give our best, also health is a luxury that even the wealthiest cannot afford. Take care and prioritize your health, before it's too late.
Thank you so much for keeping up with me until this part, I hope we will all have a productive and positive "First Week of December" Yahoooooo.
