Today was a day set aside to celebrate workers for their hard work and dedication to all that they have been doing in the career space. It is a day meant to celebrate staffs and members of organizations although not all companies or institutions celebrate their Staffs except for some few organizations that have great bosses.
I thought the holiday was going to be interesting or at least wortwhile but it has been boring as hell. To make matters worse again electricity supply is so bad that the heat has gotten so worse you could literally feel it from the inside of you. Honestly, it didn't feel like an holiday it felt like it a means to stay at home and be bored all through the day without doing anything relevant.
But all the same I want to use this medium to appreciate everyone that has carried out their jobs diligently and efficiently, it is not easy especially when we live in a country that does not appreciate efforts rather they tend to pay more to people who are dormant in their space of work. Despite the economic hardship in the country it will surprise you to know that nothing was done as regards salary upgrade or a means to support the people for transportation or anything.
Workers are really suffering especially those that are trying to do something legal that would not tamper with their dignity we find it hard to access certain kinds of luxury that would make life easy for us.
