Actualmente, me encuentro en Caicara del Orinoco, y el escenario aquí ofrece un momento paradisíaco. Es la pausa perfecta para refrescar el espíritu y recargar energías con la prodigiosa naturaleza. Siento una inmensa emoción al recibir en mi alma el cromatismo visual que fluye a través del canal más ancho del torrentoso río Orinoco.

The vibrant experience of my influenced daily life confirms an inescapable truth for me, because it is totally enriching to travel and immerse oneself in the unspoiled landscape of the Venezuelan Amazon. I am currently in Caicara del Orinoco, and the scenery here offers a moment of paradise. It is the perfect break to refresh the spirit and recharge your batteries with the prodigious nature. I feel immense emotion as I take in the visual colors that flow through the widest channel of the torrential Orinoco River.
Estoy de paso por esta ciudad y no pude evitar acercarme a la orilla para capturar su belleza con mi smartphone. La tarde se despliega como un lienzo sensible: el cielo se despide con tonalidades azules cada vez más intensas. La alegría de las inmensas nubes volando junto a las aves, el canto coral de los grillos y el penetrante olor a pez que inunda la ribera, todo se fusiona en un profundo y envolvente cromatismo azul.
I am passing through this city and couldn't help but approach the shore to capture its beauty with my smartphone. The afternoon unfolds like a sensitive canvas: the sky bids farewell with increasingly intense shades of blue. The joy of the immense clouds flying alongside the birds, the choral song of the crickets, and the penetrating smell of fish that floods the riverbank all merge into a deep and enveloping blue chromaticism.
Me dirijo a la gabarra del puerto de transporte fluvial para respirar en paz y meditar, envuelta en la sinfonía y la energizante luz que emana del Orinoco. Frente a la embarcación, pasan canoas de pescadores. En un momento, se acerca y atraca una curiara con dos jóvenes. Amarran su canoa y suben a la plancha con la pesca de la tarde. Mientras exhiben su captura, les consulto si podrían venderme una pieza. Inmediatamente, me muestran un hermoso bagre de dos kilos por dos dólares. Cerramos el trato al instante y proceden a despresarlo.
I head to the barge at the river transport port to breathe in peace and meditate, enveloped in the symphony and energizing light emanating from the Orinoco. In front of the boat, fishermen's canoes pass by. Suddenly, a curiara with two young men approaches and docks. They tie up their canoe and climb onto the deck with the afternoon's catch.
Mi visita al río me ha dado una doble recompensa: nutrir mi alma y mi cuerpo. En un rato, con cuchillos bien afilados y el pescado lavado, me entregan las presas cortadas en fabulosas piezas. Agradezco sinceramente a estos jóvenes por su digna labor, que me proporciona una excelente fuente de proteína.

My visit to the river has given me a double reward: nourishing my soul and my body. In a short while, with sharp knives and the fish washed, they deliver the catch cut into fabulous pieces. I sincerely thank these young people for their dignified work, which provides me with an excellent source of protein.
