It's been a long time since I've done this, left the house for a while, walked far away, just walked and walked, but in this case, my outing had a purpose, which I'll tell you about in another post. Anyway, I took the opportunity to capture this day, this moment, which allows you to be with yourself, even if only for a moment.
Walking helps you stay in shape, stretch your legs, and, of course, see another part of the city. Even though you've lived there for years, there are many places you don't know, places you rarely walk through. Hasn't that happened to you?
I suppose it's natural. Every day, new avenues, streets, and places appear, especially the latter. and this is where I tell you again about the purpose of my walk on this day: to go to a place I had never been to before because it is so far from my house. But even so, with a lot of effort, I managed to get there. Believe me, it was a long walk, both there and back, but I am left with the satisfaction of knowing that I can do it, that I can get there. This is something that very few people manage to do, with the typical excuse that they don't like walking, that they're too lazy, that it's too hot, too sunny, in short, thousands of excuses, and yes, I had that thought too, but when I set my mind to doing something spontaneous like this, I get motivated and do it, alone, because as they say, we are born and we die alone.
Anyway, here are these photos, this reflection: don't put off until tomorrow what you can do today, dare to take that walk that you keep putting off because it's too far away; you'll get there for sure.
Until next time.
