The Sambil Walk unites Venezuela

The new edition of the Sambil Unites Venezuela Walk has been promoted for several months, and a few weeks ago a press conference was held at the Lidotel Barquisimeto to provide details about this event, which attracts more participants each year.
Athletes, runners, families: anyone can participate; you don't need to be a super athlete. It's an event open to everyone. The walk covers a total distance of five kilometers and will take place on May 31st at seven Sambil locations simultaneously.
The locations are Caracas, Valencia, Margarita Island, San Cristóbal, and, of course, Barquisimeto. Caracas will participate with its two Sambil locations, as well as Chacao and Candelaria. The walk falls on a Sunday, and the scheduled start time, as announced, is 7:30 a.m., so participants should arrive before the start time.
Desde hace varios meses se promociona la nueva edición de la Caminata Sambil Une Venezuela, y hace unas semanas se realizó una conferencia de prensa en el Lidotel Barquisimeto para brindar detalles sobre este evento, que atrae a más participantes cada año.
Atletas, corredores, familias: cualquiera puede participar; no es necesario ser un superatleta. Es un evento abierto a todos. La caminata tiene un recorrido total de cinco kilómetros y se llevará a cabo el 31 de mayo en siete sedes de Sambil simultáneamente.
Las sedes son Caracas, Valencia, Isla Margarita, San Cristóbal y, por supuesto, Barquisimeto. Caracas participará con sus dos sedes de Sambil, al igual que Chacao y Candelaria. Ese día cae en domingo y la hora programada, según lo informado, es a las 7:30 de la mañana, por lo que quienes participen deberán llegar antes de la hora de salida.
The press conference was brief. I arrived early, as always, to get a good spot and take some photos beforehand. The manager of the Smabi Barquisimeto Shopping Center and the marketing director were the two people present to provide information about the event and, of course, answer questions and concerns from the journalists, media professionals, content creators, and digital media representatives in attendance.
The event was held in the lobby of the Lidotel, which is quite spacious, and everything was already set up when I arrived. The organizers did an excellent job, attending to the media and having everything ready before the scheduled time.
La rueda de prensa fue breve. Llegué temprano, como siempre, para conseguir un buen sitio y sacar algunas fotos antes. El gerente del Centro Comercial Smabi Barquisimeto y el director de marketing fueron las dos personas presentes para informar sobre el evento y, por supuesto, responder a las preguntas e inquietudes de los periodistas, comunicadores, creadores de contenido y medios digitales presentes.
El evento se celebró en el vestíbulo del Lidotel, que es bastante espacioso, y todo estaba ya preparado cuando llegué. Los organizadores hicieron un excelente trabajo, atendiendo a los medios y teniendo todo listo antes de la hora prevista.
To participate in this walk, you must register, and of course, there's a fee. You can register through the Sambil website. The fee mainly covers the t-shirt. It currently costs $25, although it was on pre-sale for a while at $20. This includes registration, participation, hydration, etc.
To attract more people and encourage more to register, there's a grand prize. Sambil Venezuela has partnered with the car brand Changan, and everyone who registers will receive a raffle ticket for a new car. So, those who participate will have a great chance, if luck is on their side, to win a new car. It's like playing the lottery, but that's what makes it so appealing. For $25 just for participating, the possibility of winning a car is very tempting.
I might stop by on the day of the walk to watch and take some photos of the event.
Para participar en esta caminata, debes registrarte, y por supuesto, hay una cuota. Puedes registrarte a través del sitio web de Sambil. La cuota cubre principalmente la camiseta. Actualmente cuesta $25, aunque estuvo en preventa por un tiempo a $20. Esto incluye la inscripción, la participación, la hidratación, etc.
Para atraer a más gente y animar a más personas a registrarse, hay un gran premio.
