Dance and Bazaar at Crepuscular

This weekend, without much money in my pocket but wanting to get out for a while, there are no excuses, because all the shopping malls have activities during this time of year. It doesn't matter if you don't have much money to spend. The important thing is to get out of the house, whether alone or with friends or family, and enjoy free activities.
On Saturday, I went to visit different places in my city, accompanied by a family member. We looked at shop windows, that is, we were one of those mall passersby who just go to look at the shop windows and ask the prices of the products.
I took the opportunity to stay for a while and enjoy the activities that were taking place in different areas of the mall. For example, in the central area, where the main stage is located, guest dance groups were performing, delighting the audience. The mall provided chairs so that most of the audience could be comfortable.
Several groups performed, each interpreting different choreographies and rhythms, although most were Christmas-themed. Once the performances were over, it was the turn of a music academy, where the children and young people who study there made their first public appearance. It was like a graduation ceremony, and there were some very talented children.
Este fin de semana, sin mucho dinero en el bolsillo, pero con ganas de salir un rato, no hay excusas, porque todos los centros comerciales tienen actividades durante esta época del año. No importa si no tienes mucho dinero para gastar. Lo importante es salir de casa, ya sea solo o con amigos o familiares, y disfrutar de actividades gratuitas.
El sábado fui a visitar diferentes lugares de mi ciudad, acompañado por un familiar. Estuvimos mirando escaparates, es decir, fuimos uno de esos transeúntes de los centros comerciales que solo van a mirar los escaparates y preguntar los precios de los productos.
Aproveché para quedarme un rato y disfrutar de las actividades que se estaban llevando a cabo en diferentes zonas del centro comercial. Por ejemplo, en la zona central, donde se encuentra el escenario principal, actuaban grupos de baile invitados, deleitando al público que estaba presente. El centro comercial proporcionó sillas para que la mayoría del público pudiera estar cómodo.
Actuaron varios grupos, cada uno interpretando diferentes coreografías y ritmos, aunque la mayoría eran de temática navideña. Una vez terminadas las actuaciones, fue el turno de una academia de música, donde los niños y jóvenes que estudian allí hicieron su primera aparición pública. Era como una ceremonia de graduación, y había algunos niños con mucho talento.
The shopping mall was very crowded, and in many parts of the place, there were areas specially decorated for people to take Christmas-themed photos. In addition, the large Christmas tree located in the center of the mall was the most striking feature, and entire families spent a lot of time taking photos.
I went up to the first floor, where a small Christmas market was being held. This time there were few stalls, which I found strange, as a few weeks ago there was another one with many more vendors. I noticed that most of the products were jewelry.
What caught my attention was one that had anime collectibles and even Marvel figures. Everything I saw fit in with geek community markets, and I asked the owners about it. They told me they hadn't participated in those markets, so I recommended they try events like Adematsucon or Expo Comic. They have good prices and their products belong to that niche.
I thought there would be more people that day, since it was Saturday. The market was open on Friday and Saturday. I continued walking around the stalls, asking the prices of the products I liked. Then I took another walk around the mall to finish watching some of the children from the music academy, until I decided to quickly go to another relatively nearby mall, which I will write about in detail in another post.

El centro comercial estaba muy concurrido y, en muchas partes del lugar, había zonas decoradas especialmente para que la gente se hiciera fotos con temática navideña. Además, el gran árbol de Navidad situado en el centro del centro comercial era el elemento más llamativo, y familias enteras pasaban mucho tiempo haciéndose fotos.
Subí a la primera planta, donde se celebraba un pequeño mercadillo navideño. Esta vez había pocos puestos, lo que me pareció extraño, ya que hace unas semanas hubo otro en el que había muchos más comerciantes. Me di cuenta de que la mayoría eran productos de joyería.
Lo que me llamó la atención fue uno que tenía productos coleccionables de anime e incluso figuras de Marvel. Todo lo que vi encajaba con los mercadillos de la comunidad geek, y pregunté a los propietarios al respecto. Me dijeron que no habían participado en esos mercadillos, así que les recomendé que probasen eventos como Adematsucon o Expo Comic. Tienen buenos precios y sus productos pertenecen a ese nicho.
Pensé que habría más gente ese día, ya que era sábado. El mercadillo estaba abierto el viernes y el sábado. Seguí paseando por los puestos, preguntando los precios de los productos que me gustaban. Luego volví a dar otra vuelta por el centro comercial para terminar de ver a algunos de los niños de la academia de música, hasta que decidí ir rápidamente a otro centro comercial relativamente cercano, del que escribiré en detalle en otra entrada.
