Christmas in Shopping Centers

Continuing with my Christmas strolls in the days leading up to Christmas, I went from the Crepusuclar shopping mall to the Metropolis shopping mall, as I had some errands to run nearby, and I went inside to see what they were doing the weekend before Christmas.
The mall was crowded, and I saw many stores full of people buying clothes and shoes. It is customary for people to wear new clothes on Christmas and New Year's Eve, and of course, many were also buying toys and gifts for children. Before the great crisis, there were several large toy stores in the mall, but now they are gone. Even so, people were spending money to enjoy Christmas.
Continuando con mis paseos navideños en los días previos a la Navidad, fui del centro comercial Crepusuclar al centro comercial Metropolis, ya que tenía que hacer algunos recados cerca, y entré para ver qué hacían el fin de semana antes de Navidad.
El centro comercial estaba lleno de gente, vi muchas tiendas llenas de gente comprando ropa y zapatos. Es costumbre que la gente se ponga ropa nueva en Navidad y Nochevieja y, por supuesto, muchos también compraban juguetes y regalos para los niños. Antes de la gran crisis, había varias tiendas de juguetes grandes en el centro comercial, pero ahora ya no están. Aun así, la gente gastaba dinero para disfrutar de la Navidad.

I arrived at the central area, on the stage of the shopping mall, where they hold events that I have reviewed throughout the year, and they had Santa Claus there. The activity consisted of people who wanted to give their children a gift giving it to Santa Claus, who would then call them over to give them the gift and take a photo with them. There were quite a few people doing this, probably because the activity had been promoted in advance on social media, and many came to do it so that their children could have a nice time with Santa Claus.
Llegué a la zona central, al escenario del centro comercial, donde se celebran los eventos que he reseñado a lo largo del año, y allí estaba Papá Noel. La actividad consistía en que las personas que querían darles un regalo a sus hijos se lo entregaban a Papá Noel, quien luego los llamaba para darles el regalo y tomarse una foto con ellos. Había bastantes personas haciendo esto, probablemente porque la actividad se había promocionado con anticipación en las redes sociales, y muchos vinieron para que sus hijos pudieran pasar un rato agradable con Papá Noel.

In the same area, there was also a mini Christmas bazaar, but there were few participating brands. They were located around the stage, and I stopped there for a long time, looking and taking photos at each stand. I love asking prices and seeing if they are handmade products, as well as asking for their address.
I find it strange that, like other bazaars this year in shopping malls, participation was lower than last year. It is clear that the economic situation has affected many who have preferred not to participate in a bazaar. A few weeks ago, a bazaar that had been announced at the Lidotel in the city was canceled, and that was a bazaar that had been held every year.
Here, there were sweets, pet clothes, accessories, and decorative plants for the home. I stopped at this stand for a while because I liked several items, looking at the prices and noting the physical location of that business.
After I walked around the stand, I spent some more time strolling through the aisles of the mall, but so many people overwhelm me a little, and I decided to leave to rest at home.
En la misma zona también había un pequeño mercadillo navideño, pero había pocas marcas participantes. Estaban situadas alrededor del escenario, y me quedé allí mucho tiempo, mirando y haciendo fotos en cada puesto. Me encanta preguntar los precios y ver si son productos hechos a mano, así como pedirles su dirección.
Me parece extraño que, al igual que otros bazares de este año en los centros comerciales, la participación fuera menor que el año pasado. Está claro que la situación económica ha afectado a muchos, que han preferido no participar en un bazar. Hace unas semanas, se canceló un bazar que se había anunciado en el Lidotel de la ciudad, y era un bazar que se celebraba todos los años.
Aquí había dulces, ropa para mascotas, accesorios y plantas decorativas para el hogar. Me detuve un rato en este puesto porque me gustaron varios artículos, miré los precios y anoté la ubicación física de ese negocio.
Después de dar una vuelta por el puesto, pasé un rato más paseando por los pasillos del centro comercial, pero tanta gente me abruma un poco, así que decidí irme a descansar a casa.
