Seeing your post friend, I gone back in time to the 80s when I was taking art classes with my beloved teacher, Nilda Cusatti de Lozano (of Italian origin, of course). She had a strong character, but as strong as her kindness and patience... She was also my calligraphy teacher, and I would stay at her house two or three afternoons a week, since my mother worked late (also as a teacher). So I was a bit of an "adopted son" to Professor Nilda 😄... And I was always pretty bad at art, and one day, while practicing enlargement with grids, she told me: "Don't worry, Jesús Armando (she always used both my names), despite everything, you're better at it than with calligraphy!" 🤣
Thanks for sharing!
